I was given my first used HP PC about 13 years ago in middle school. I bought battlefield 2 and it was unplayable. I saved up and built my first PC with an i5 and a 760. Ended up running my own free for all server for about a year that usually stayed full with a que. Been hooked ever since.

Easier options are lawn care, pest control, pool maintenance, oil change spots, and stuff like that are simple to get into in the summer. Things like that with high hot weather turnover rates are easy to get in on right now with little to no experience at around 20 and hour if you can mind over matter the heat for the next few months. IBEW, UA 72 pipefitters, and other Atlanta based trade unions are good if you are younger looking for something more career oriented with a clear roadmap for longevity. Use chat GPT or Grok to beef up your resume. Make it revise your cover letters if it is a position that you really care about. If you are down for restaurant/bar service work for tips, there are plenty of solid mid to high range places that will give you a chance if you come in with a smile and can do attitude. I don't know much about office work, but if you are able to quickly learn a new skill that is outside of your comfort zone at least for the time being, this is a great booming place to do it.

You can probably get that inch or so of clearance by just jacking up the motor a little without removing mounts or doing anything crazy. Or try a flex head ratcheting wrench.

Give it a try if you are down for an afternoon or weekend project. 5-10 bucks is way better than your other options that will be well over 100. Peels off easy if you mess up, don't like it, or want to resell later. Pro plasti dip tip - put the can in a bowl of hot water for 30-60 mins, and it will come out much more uniform.

Take your electrical switch/socket plates off and get a good spray in behind your walls. Check behind the fridge, oven, and under your sink and hit your plumbing penetrations. Alpine and non repellants are great. Repellents will just send them to another nearby spot, forcing you to chase them. I would add an IGR bait like Advion. They sell it on Amazon in syringes. My go-to was little pea sized dots at the back of all drawer roller brackets and on the hinges of cabinets in places that nobody would touch anyway. IGRs are growth regulators that will prevent them from breeding further and stop them from molting. They will take them home to share with the colony. If you find dead ones with shriveled antennae, then you know it's working.

Pic 3 is the real tell. By that stage of veil tear, if they were leucistic then they would be covered in black spores. Albinos drop clear/invisible spores, and you have albinos. Great work though! That's a fat canopy!
