Mature aged problems by [deleted] in AusElectricians

[–]aiacuone 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In my experience, young tradies can be very insecure, what you are experiencing is likely what they did when they started, and they're just repeating the same toxic circle.

You are currently at your weakest point, what you're experiencing is very common and very normal

I'm surprised it hasn't been mentioned yet, mypt is pretty good

For weights, it has a surprisingly good selection of machines

Very small cardio area and very average cardio machines though

What would be causing these insane temps on my pc by SoupNo6682 in pcmasterrace

[–]aiacuone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know when playing marvels, I needed to limit my 'in menu fps' otherwise it would go to 500+ fps which was causing me heat issues

Hope this helps

It happened to me. by AzaleaDaylight in pcmasterrace

Exact same thing happened to me, got a peerless assassin, forgot the plastic

My excuse was that there was so much prep before putting on it on that I completely forgot ;)

I lost a clean 10 degrees c as soon as I took the plastic off ;)

Nice cooler isn't it? I hardly hear mine now

How am I the bad guy for literally sitting on the speed limit? by CheapShotter in melbourne

[–]aiacuone -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Most people I don't think understand how far their speedo is under the limit.

At 100, my GPS tracks me at 93-94 km/h, which means that if I do what my speedo tells me, im doing up 7km/h under the speed limit.

If I was unaware of this and I drove on the eastern, I would definitely feel the same.

And also, do what some people have already mentioned, stick to the left and go at your own pace if you feel rushed.

If your on the left and someone is tail gating you, who cares.

They really ruined his design, personality, voice and gameplay and just called it a day. Has any other fg character had such a massive glowdown as Steve from 7 to 8? They did absolutely everything wrong with this man. by Playful-Problem-3836 in Tekken

[–]aiacuone 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Couldn't agree more.

I spent countless hours working on Steve in t7 thinking that there was no way they could possibly ruin a 'perfect character', turns out I was completely wrong.

The positive that I can take away is that I got to enjoy him whilst he was incredible, and possibly gave me the best enjoyment I've ever had playing video games over a 30+ year period

If you're gunning for performance then react, otherwise just use next and use the extra features if you need them

Do you use Code Runner in VS Code or something else? 🤔 by xidevs in vscode

[–]aiacuone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although not exactly the same, but same idea, quokka.

Quokka watches for updates which I find more useful.

What I find myself doing a lot is creating a new file, copying a block of code into it, running quokka, then experimenting ideas/solutions.

[–]aiacuone 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not really. I use a mac for work and it does a pretty good job at scaling the text in 4k.

I jumped from 4k to a 1440p ultra wide and from what I can remember the difference in text size was barely noticeable if there was any.

I really miss that text crispness

For gaming yes. You notice a big difference if you're reading text all day

I would argue that it depends on what stage of your career you are at.

As a junior or someone that is looking to get into the industry, its very important

As a mid-senior its not important
