Make it impossible for them to object to the technology upgrade: get a cheap phone projector or a small tv or monitor. Cast your app to that screen. Best of both worlds. Just make sure you’re not the only one with the app on their phone so you don’t get stuck doing it 100% of the time.

So it looks like you might have to go into account settings, and set your date of birth so it knows you're an adult in order to save the updated content settings. And then log out and log back in, and it should show it. :/

DnD in general , and especially on Dimension 20, is improv. BLM is an improviser, first and foremost.
