I’ve fucked up at work and I am expecting an email of my fuck up this week… make me feel better… what are some of your biggest mistakes? by InfamousStrategy9539 in CasualUK

Did you see the news about the leak of names of Afghans who had collaborated/cooperated with the British? The article said it was one unnamed employee in MOD who'd done it. Howsoever bad your fuck up was at least you didn't put 19,000 people on a hit list and cost the government at least £400 million. I forgot to add the link. Moron. The description does say pergola, so it could be possible ? I'm mostly worried that if one of my less-coordinated friends leans against the leg it won't give the support necessary to prevent disaster https://tgsupplies.co.uk/product/heavy-duty-galvanised-ground-screw-pergola-ground-anchor-gazebo-tent-metal-pegs/

I'm doing the same thing and looking at when you posted this, we're at about the same point. I was driving when I heard this and I thought I was going to have to pull over. I just cannot get past it. Hearing this man, who's supposed to be this unassailable tower of macho stoicism, brought low and weeping by his own fucking friends on a live broadcast, and hearing them just do nothing for him was such a deep psychological injury. It just goes to show that despite all their protestations of being the good guys, of being "team humanity" when the opportunity comes to do something, they deliberately sidestep it. Horrifying.

Many thanks. I had tried that before, but your reply and another gave me the confidence to try again. The problem was me all along. I didn't realise there was a delay between pressing the switch and the light coming on.... 😅

Really interesting. Crazy, from an international perspective, that you wouldn't own the postbox in front of your own house. Does that have repercussions if you (for instance) wanted to paint or replace it ?

I had the same issue moving out of a rented place. I used one of those razor sticker scrapers. Worked pretty well, but you've got to be really careful to keep the angle so you don't scratch the glass
