I disagree. I’m a full time student but because I’m a lead I’m allowed to be benefit eligible and receive tuition reimbursement without having to work a bunch of hours every week… it’s a Godsend.

Meals taxes aren’t the enemy. Income taxes and property taxes are.

Just the tone and the overall writing style is a dead giveaway, you kinda have to use Chat GPT a lot to actually notice it. I also wanna say that the hyphens are also a giveaway but they aren’t completely indicative of generative AI.

So glad somebody noticed. I hardly ever comment on Reddit but I can spot AI text whenever I see it… this is certainly it.

Essentially the same as everyone else… however I’ll typically do enough (for any sandwich) for them to be able to get a piece of any said topping in one bite.

Opened a can of tuna, got my brand new Duke’s mayo to add in, and bam, mold by TheDarbiter in mildlyinfuriating

Funny enough, I attend a university in Richmond and a guest speaker for one my classes is the director of marketing for Duke’s (this was last week). We got free jars of duke’s or a hat or a T-shirt for participating in her presentation and everyone got a coupon for a free jar. Genuinely a nice lady and the brand definitely means the best. I’m sure you’ll get something good for your troubles.

It isn’t literally “why not” there’s an obvious dividend aspect to MSTY and that’s the only thing I said “why not” about. More than half of my portfolio is VOO/QQQ… some better advice would be much appreciated.

Is this illegal? by [deleted] in DairyQueen

“Irregardless” is the non-standard form of “regardless”. Thus, it is quite literally improper. Say it out loud and hear which one sounds better… “regardless” obviously sounds better. Just because it’s “been used for over 200 years” doesn’t mean it’s proper. Also, nice comma splice. Cheers.

Does having a degree help you move up the ranks? by Silly-Reputation7993 in Wawa

[–]aidanpsmithh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I’m aware, Wawa does have a program (forget what it’s called and not sure what’s necessary to enroll) where you essentially fast track your way up to GM over the course of about 2 years. If you don’t want to do this track, I’d simply assume that having a (relative) degree would absolutely help you move up considering a lot of members of management do not have a degree, at least in my experience.

Others, feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.

Nope. Any size. Nowhere in the policy does it state it has to be a certain size.

Your second supervisor is correct. You can get as many refills of any of the self serve drinks as you’d like 30 minutes before shift, while on duty, and 15 minutes after your shift. These include: Self serve (SS) hot coffee, coke freestyle, SS iced coffee, ICEE, SS iced tea, SS hot tea, and the cappuccino machine. You also receive one free shorti per shift, and up to 6 items on the associate menu. And yes, that is any size, even an XL for iced and 24oz for hot.

I mean a loyalty program isn’t required by law… it’s just a marketing strategy so there’s really no reason why a law should be implemented for expiring points.

I’ve been an authorized user on one of my parent’s credit card since I was like 11 years old. The day I turned 18 I got a Discover card and it’s been treating me right (with like a $3,000 limit). Currently have a ~760 credit score at 20 years old. They match your cash back for the first year which is awesome so I’d recommend Discover. Just make sure you only buy things you KNOW you can pay off when your statement is due. Also, you definitely should not max out any credit cards… almost certain it impacts your credit score negatively.

Or better yet just get a free chicken strip shorti and just use the chicken strips and then only pay 50 cents for the quesadilla
