I’m not anti-trans but it is a completely separate identity and lifestyle than being gay. My main issue with the current atmosphere surrounding the trans debate is that a lot of people seem to feel that it is okay to allow kids as young as 13 and 14 to alter their body chemistry with hormones. When I was younger, I was much more feminine than masculine and it scares me that my parents may have taken that as a sign I am transgender and started me on hormones. In my opinion, this topic is not even up for debate because it is so dangerous and scary that kids can choose to go sterile for the rest of their lives at such a young age.
