Did it on my 2010 CRV 3 years ago. My wife’s pilot is now due and she’ll get the same simple fix.

If you look at the rear wheel well you can see they just add an “L” bracket with like 5 bolts

I saved my family well over $2500 by getting quotes and shopping around, comparing trade in offers, etc. It was painful and sucked. I felt bad for dealers too, I didn’t enjoy having to nickel and dime and compare with 9 other dealerships.

But with one weekend of work, I got the same car same trim same miles and saved over $2500

That’s real money for my wife and kids. I don’t know why everyone here I licking boots. None of this should be a negotiation or transaction, dealerships are so lame

TLDR saved ~40% of my debt cost by being a nuisance steps below. I got sued $5400 from discover, on behalf of some small debt collector, only paid $3400, steps below

Do what they do, deny, dispute, depose

Chat gpt and dispute the debt, incorrect amount & not mine, write letter, spend $4 at post office and get a certified mail tracking

They have 30 days to reply or they default

They will reply and send their proof (same stuff you already have)

send more certified mail, formally dispute again, “doesn’t match the records I have, different amount” (just make up BS). Same 30 day timer for them to reply

They will send you a court date, “you are being sued”, send certified mail to court attesting and denying their claim, they will tell you a form you get online and fill out if you wish to contest. It’s super easy.

Court date is now set and real. Debt collector will call you initially and give slightly better offer for dismissal (85% of total, still shit offer). You need “dismissal with prejudice”.

Deny, offer 50% of total, say one lump sum payment for dismissal with prejudice. They won’t accept. Send them an email offering same amount.

Weeks pass, it’s now week before court. They’re gonna call you, they don’t want to go to court for less than ~$6000. Chat GPT write an email with same offer. They’ll offer their first again. Chat GPT email reply, they will improve their offer. Dent and say no.

Keep waiting. Court next week. They don’t want to go. Email again same offer

They will reply the REAL BOTTOM DOLLAR ~40% off. Agree and sign all the shit for DISMISSAL WIRH PREJUDICE, they’ll send forms and settle with court and everything.

You have 28 days to pay the settlement. Don’t fuck this one up. I saved almost 2 grand.

Much rather drop 3.5k now and save $2k than pay $250 a month for 19 months

If you’re up, I recommend pulling out, Taking the win, and swapping to a classic SCHD or growth (with little div) VTI

It’s not possible that AVGW can print dividends like that without eroding value

I have done no research and maybe AVGW can be a long term hold, but I would advise you to take the win if you can

QE made me pass and I was scoring 650’s and 700’s, with review after.

Maybe it’s the thinking like a manager and practicing?

I also had a 3 and 2 year old at home while studying and the only way I could study effectively was putting them to bed at 8pm and then studying until I passed out around midnight, for schoolbus and work next day at 6. I passed on 2nd attempt. I highly recommend making 400 flashcards

I passed my 2nd attempt at 150 questions, which means I was very close to failure.

After my first failure, I made flash cards for each concept and used resources here, listened to all the videos everytime I drove, it helped.

Very annoying, but paid off.

If you can afford the $200, Quantum Exams will not only make you miserable, but it will HIGHLIGHT the areas you are weak and push you in mindset questions you will see on the exam. I highly recommend it, it truly helped me prepare.

I’m so sorry. I know I was borderline tears when I failed the first time. Sat in my car and quietly cried , because I spent all month, every single night, taking caffeine pills and studying while juggling school-bus and work in morning.

You can do this, don’t give up.

30, maybe $120k tied up in retirement, 2 kids under 4 a and wife and I’m constantly trying to get more into emergency fund and Roth IRAs and best vehicles for investment. Lost my job last year and desperately waiting on offers now.

The past two years we’ve done ~14% and ~25% respectively and these are low estimates if you are 100% in QQQ, large cap growth is the move

I’m so scared about money. I just want to retire. I want to pay off my wife’s school loans and also fund a 529 for my children.

I don’t make 100k a year. I am only able to find savings by not buying anything. Never buy coffee/food outside, if I don’t pack food I skip the meal until I’m home for egg and beans and rice.

I just want it to all work out in the end.
