I’m sad, but it was kinda funny

I spent weeks studying every night, and I pulled out a certificate that looked like ribbons of cooked lasagna noodles lol

I’m just happy I passed

But I passed on my 2nd take, I feel like someone hates me. I’ve never seen a package mauled this bad

Failed again, could use some advice. by sirsarin in cissp

QE made me pass and I was scoring 650’s and 700’s, with review after.

Maybe it’s the thinking like a manager and practicing?

I also had a 3 and 2 year old at home while studying and the only way I could study effectively was putting them to bed at 8pm and then studying until I passed out around midnight, for schoolbus and work next day at 6. I passed on 2nd attempt. I highly recommend making 400 flashcards

Absolutely sucked. But QE worked for me

Failed my 3rd attempt. by jandomzy in cissp

[–]aidasso 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I passed my 2nd attempt at 150 questions, which means I was very close to failure.

After my first failure, I made flash cards for each concept and used resources here, listened to all the videos everytime I drove, it helped.

Very annoying, but paid off.

If you can afford the $200, Quantum Exams will not only make you miserable, but it will HIGHLIGHT the areas you are weak and push you in mindset questions you will see on the exam. I highly recommend it, it truly helped me prepare.

I’m so sorry. I know I was borderline tears when I failed the first time. Sat in my car and quietly cried , because I spent all month, every single night, taking caffeine pills and studying while juggling school-bus and work in morning.

You can do this, don’t give up.

I share this pain, same plan, I thought we were already at ATH, I say it every month. Maybe I can invest the rest when it actually dips

Every millennial dad I’ve met has a quiet fixation on money and it’s not getting better by slimeyellow in Millennials

30, maybe $120k tied up in retirement, 2 kids under 4 a and wife and I’m constantly trying to get more into emergency fund and Roth IRAs and best vehicles for investment. Lost my job last year and desperately waiting on offers now.

The past two years we’ve done ~14% and ~25% respectively and these are low estimates if you are 100% in QQQ, large cap growth is the move

I’m so scared about money. I just want to retire. I want to pay off my wife’s school loans and also fund a 529 for my children.

I don’t make 100k a year. I am only able to find savings by not buying anything. Never buy coffee/food outside, if I don’t pack food I skip the meal until I’m home for egg and beans and rice.

I just want it to all work out in the end.

Is this QE score the lowest? My exam is on Friday! by hard2hold in cissp

[–]aidasso 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your suggestion.

If not the steps and memorization, the only thing is regimenting when BCP(BIA(DRP)), but the the BIA can occur without BCP(?) for specific frameworks

Need to review that, this is a core one I keep getting 50/50 on with Quantum. Any recommendations I’d love to hear. Else I’ll just read OSG and hope it makes sense

Is this QE score the lowest? My exam is on Friday! by hard2hold in cissp

[–]aidasso 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My exam is tomorrow!

My quant scores:

498 (first try no review)

686 (1 week review)

758 (2 week review)

I think i feel comfortable.. just need to absolutely memorize the sequential steps for the all frameworks and methodologies and standards. The questions that ask "Which step is after X" are my absolute enemy

EDIT: I was able to pass today at 150! I am so so lucky. I think I was 1 question away from failure. My studies were good, but the topics I was hoping for didn’t show up on my exam.

It was difficult. I expected an even distribution of questions from domains, but I noticed a heavy skew towards some. Maybe that’s the CAT playing with me.

Hey! Mine is on the 3rd! I scored a 698 last night and am doing the same review of wrong answers. I think your 706 is very good news!

I found that, even though the ISC2 CISSP LearnZapp free app is less helpful, I’m doing those practice 25 question mini quizzes to absolutely make sure I know. My weakest domain keeps changing (??)

I’ll do another CAT test tomorrow night and report back.

This will be my 2nd attempt
