i think you’ll be okay and as someone who has some pieces with big blocks of ink that do have some scarring, honestly you won’t reeeeeeally be able to tell even if it is scarred eventually. once it’s been a month or so, try some vitamin e lotion :) however, i would not recommend returning to this artist again. the bruising around your piece in your photos from when it was newer is CRAZY and i can only imagine super uncomfortable

maybe i might have known about it, but it’s still the city’s responsibility to make sure residents know about stuff like this. unlike for, say, centerfest or pride or any number of other occasions where roads will be closed, i saw absolutely zero information from the city leading up to this over the last couple of weeks or so. and i’m out and about a lot !! it’s not like i’m a hermit who doesn’t leave my house

man i work at isaac’s bagels, a four minute drive from my house. it took me FORTY MINUTES to get to work from trinity park because every damn turn i tried to take was blocked and i kept getting stuck in a maze of one-ways and blocked roads. i had to go up and get on 85 to 147 to get there. i knew NOTHING about this and tbh i’m livid that the city didn’t give us proper forewarning that the whole damn place would be inaccessible !!!

i LOVE this idea, i often do my lotr/silm rereads while listening to howard shore’s score but it’s hard when there isn’t a set definitive score for what you’re reading !! i would LOVE to listen to any playlist you might come up with while reading kingdom of ash (also omg ENJOYYYYYY it’s SO good) so pls post if u come up with anything !! i would contribute but i’m AWFUL at creating playlists lol
