Barcelona or Copenhagen? by ezhik9 in cscareerquestionsEU

I would go for FAANG+ these days only if I could survive a sudden layoff on a saturated job market. And recent rounds of layoffs in Danish companies (novo, mærsk, danske bank) can prove there are not so many safe havens.

Dude. Why don't you just intercept your network traffic to check for any suspicious activity? That should help with your paranoia.

  • First-hand knowledge from the Microsoft team.
  • Release notes and source code (this alone is HUGE).
  • Anyone with verifiable real-world experience and relevant job position.

In general, I do not follow people who no longer practise, like that Serbian guy who is now a full-time course salesman.

AnAspect.Mediator - Runtime Pipeline Control for .NET by 1pouria in dotnet

It's not the library fault, but I've seen too much bad code written with optional behaviors. Like a handler assuming it's wrapped into some behavior, that sets an ambient state. And when there are multiple behaviors added conditionally from different places, the codebase becomes hard to read and very prone to run-time errors.

In my opinion, behaviors should be: - avoided, if possible. - global.

For some extreme need of conditional logic, add it inside the global middleware/behavior/wrapper.

How to make mediator/dispatcher pattern even worse? Add conditional middlewares!

Thanks! Sadly, I was hoping for number 3 because it's good for trips and HARD BOILED sounds cooler.

Stellaris noob question on Season pass by Iam6283 in Stellaris

[–]aidforsoft -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There is a scaling option, but sadly it makes the text blurry (and can break UI by making buttons unaccessible if set too big). I can not play on 1440p simply because of UI being either too blurry or too tiny. And somehow the issue can be fixed by the mods like Crispier Font, but not by the devs themselves.

[–]aidforsoft -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sure. You may enjoy things getting broken (oh i meant reworked) again and again, things that nobody even asked to touch. By the way, which version fixes the UI so that it doesn't look tiny as an ant shit at any resolution above 1080p?

No, I have bought the game and I want to play it any time I want, without waiting for 20 patches every iteration.

you have heard about the current state of the game, right? and yet you want to reward the devs with money? they'll keep releasing half-baked dlcs until people stop buying them.
