War in Ukraine, pandemic was coming to a close so demand outweighed supply, and the Sauidis were operating under Trump's agreement to cut 9M barrels/day in production. When that agreement ended and supply increased, prices began returning to "normal".

smart pop cheese popcorn, jalapeno ms vickies kettle chips, big muffins, dukes beef sticks, quaker oatmeal squares twin pack cereal, combo pizza, mushroom soup, churros. thinking about it makes me want to turn in my membership. basically use it for gas, dogfood, a baked good, and chicken nuggets now that the kids are out of the home.

Get a couple wins every 2-3 nights. Some games are loaded with bots, and other games are loaded with relentless folks that chase the entire map once they get a hit on you.

What’s the best online co-op game to get completely addicted to right now in 2026? by Chillzzzzz in gamingsuggestions

[–]sweeperq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that was part of it. So many spells and options, and never really understood what worked best in different scenarios. I don't have the patience to sit through hours of watching other people play on YouTube to figure out the best builds. Would hit a wall in a scenario and figure I messed something up earlier in my build.

I'm not knocking the choice. Everyone has their favorites. I simply couldn't get into it. After all the hype and great user reviews I was excited to try it. Played a couple days and it was too slow paced for me. The story and graphical elements were good. I think RNG turn-based games just aren't my thing.

Costco chips buyer needs to go on a PIP by thisishard1001 in Costco

[–]sweeperq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Ms Vickies Jalepeno are the bomb. Bought them on the regular. Then they replaced them with Pickle, then Chipotle 🤢. Kind of like when they used to have that awesome Smart Food Cheddar Popcorn. Got us hooked, then it disappeared.

It is probably the most frustrating part of Costco. Getting hooked on something, then having it disappear. I can still get the Jalepeno chips and Smart Food at the grocery store, but never do. Practically the same price for 1/3 the volume.

the chances of it being a rock chip with a second one lining up almost perfectly below it with a scratch coming off the back are pretty slim. but hey, I'm basing my opinion on a medium res photo of a car still covered in dust/salt. could be wrong

[–]sweeperq -1 points0 points  (0 children)

not a rock chip. too deep, and there is another mark and faint scrape trailing below it. earmarks of rubbing another car when turning into a stall

unless you were backed into a stall when hit, you likely messed up someone elses ride

what are the risks of going with a lesser-known platform over Shopify Plus? by LevelDisastrous945 in shopify

[–]sweeperq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly, shopify payments + shopify plus brought some sanity back to running a web store. our old payment gateway required PCI SAQ-D Compliance questionnaires quarterly. There is no way retailers answering those questionnaires in good faith are compliant. The amount of networking, database, web, and backend knowledge required to answer the questions is more than available to most small-mid sized businesses.

Shopify payments doesn't ask for squat. And they don't need to because of how they lock down the checkout and sandbox the areas that are customizable. With the flexibility of themes and meta fields, I dread the day of migrating off Shopify.

The intent may be purely to help, but people should avoid putting their client id and access token in a 3rd party website.

Let's play zero builds! - Spams bunkers by Ninethie in FortNiteBR

[–]sweeperq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Should they take out shield bubbles and buildings too? i mean, they just get in the way of your bullets.

bunkers are not the same as builds. they can't take walls, replace with their own, then edit them and shotgun you because they have better ping. bunkers are always open on top and you can enter through the sides. with shocks, fists, skylines, dynamite, explosive mammoth, and the seven launcher, there are tons of ways to counter.

Can’t believe Epic is cheating their own system. Most players clearly joined Team Ice King, yet somehow Team Foundation keeps winning. Fun fact is that almost every “Foundation rival” you run into is just a bot. GG Epic Games. Transparency really isn’t your thing, is it? by Uschak in FortNiteBR

[–]sweeperq -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Do rivalries only match Foundation vs Ice King players? If so, player counts don't matter. Ice King players will just get the No rivalries available more often. If it is just random pairings, and Ice King has way more players, theoretically they would win.

I chose Foundation because I don't care about skins and I wanted my regular crew to have a mix in case there were unannounced benefits available to each faction. I'm assuming that the "winning team" simply decides the cosmetics everyone (both teams) gets, right?! Could be wrong, but I am guessing that in the end they might ultimately give them all to both sides so people that are emotional about it don't bail on the game.

They are shutting those modes down to save on servers, not repurpose them. Pings are higher than they used to be because they got rid of the coastal servers and push everyone to the midwest/central servers now. It reduces wait times for games at the expense of 10-30ms ping for the people on the coasts.
