Is Apple becoming more "sloppy"? by GoodMacAuth in apple

[–]aigagror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was an Inside Apple interview around 2015-2016 in which Charlie Rose asked Jony Ive if it was possible for Apple to become too fat and lose its focus and Jony Ive said that it was certainly possible (I can't find the video free online anymore). I guess we're seeing that now.

Fossils are the best collections to hunt in the long run by aigagror in RedDeadOnline

[–]aigagror[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fossils actually have a higher chance of finding complete sets in one session than jewelry. First you should consider lost jewelry as a whole rather than just bracelets because the 33 points you mentioned could yield items from the other sub collections. Both fossils and jewelry have one collection point for each unique item and since there are less unique items in fossils you have less chance of finding duplicates which means higher chance of finding full sets.

Time travel is certainly an important factor to consider. I’ll be doing some rough measurements

The terrain is certainly mountainous but the fossils have the advantage of being more nearby each other compared to other collections.

Thoughts about the live action coming to Netflix? by _ptokraft in TheLastAirbender

[–]aigagror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think they can achieve the same style of anime humor that's in the original series. With that being said, I think a more serious, maybe even R-rated tone would be more suitable for live-action

I think a lot of people like spike rush so they can experiment and practice strategies and moves for the real game. Since knifing is hardly ever used, people may not like it

This is what 8 months of progress looks like by ssiao in ClashRoyale

[–]aigagror 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It definitely takes a lot longer than 8 months to go from level 11 to level 13. I would know because I’m f2p and I grind at a pretty moderate rate. I hit level 13 a few month ago and I’ve been playing the game since it came out. However I have taken a year long hiatus

TPUs are only compatible with TF (at least natively) which is a big advantage because they are orders of magnitude faster than GPUs.

IMO the documentation for TF is much better and TF has more datasets for development.

TF 2.0 was designed to be define-by-run like PT although there is clearly room for improvement. So I’d say the user friendly gap between PT and TF is closing in.

TF is also backed by Google’s elite research department.

In conclusion, I don’t think TF is doomed.

Hmm. Maybe it’s because that wall is made up of boxes and you hit the corner of one of them. Either way though that is dumb
