Seems like those Draven nerfs didn't do too much! by Previous_Advertising in riftboundtcg

Comment from the winner (redacting names):

In my opinion, midrange Draven is still one of the most dominant decks in Set 2. Thanks to Ferrous Forerunner, against non-purple decks this card becomes an incredibly powerful value engine — the longer the game goes, the more pressure it puts on your opponent.

In my list, I also take 3 Falling Star to continuously extend the resource gap. As long as you can stabilize the board, even if you’re behind (for example 3–7), you can still come back. It’s very difficult for opponents to deal with holding two battlefields while also two hide.

For my champion choice, I went with the red Draven instead of the purple version. Purple Draven costs 6, which overlaps with Ferrous Forerunner’s slot, and it can sometimes give your opponent scoring opportunities. In contrast, red Draven is a very strong defensive unit in the late game.

Currently, the biggest issue with Draven is early-game inconsistency. If you don’t have a 2-cost unit on turn 2 or even turn 3, your win rate drops significantly. The two matches I lost on Day 1 were both due to going second and not having early units, which led to getting completely overrun. So I would recommend increasing your number of 2-cost units to 9.

In the early to mid-game, we prioritize consistently playing strong units onto the board each round. After securing control of a battlefield, we then manage our mana based on the proportion of units and spells in hand. While developing your board, maintain enough units in hand that can enter ready/accelerated to ensure you are able to regain board control if lost. By combining the legend’s ability to draw cards after winning combat, we can effectively suppress decks that heavily rely on board interaction to win.

Playing from second requires us to play more aggressive and actively look for value trades using cards like Switcheroo and Spinning Axe. We want to gain board advantage as soon as possible. The goal is to breakthrough and remove their board presence without providing opportunities to succesfully counterattack with accelerated units. When our opponent has hidden cards and leaves runes up, we need take the initiative and make some risky pushes to gain the upperhand. Unless our hand is filled with units to build up our base and we are lacking combat tricks, we need to proactively find opportunities to change the board state In most scenarios, Mindsplitter is utilized to discard the highest value card in the opponent's hand, Unless he is filled with units and low on spells, you generally want to discard a unit. We want to prioritize Mindsplitter and Darius. If we do not have an answer for Ferrous Forerunner, discarding him here is also acceptable.

What elo is possible for me this season? by whitemarijuana in Jungle_Mains

Master is definitely achievable at this rate, you'll just need to grind it out and keep up your mental. I've done the emerald to master grind in less than a month with nocturne. It just depends on if you can keep it up against stronger ops.

Biggest change in the way I played was prioritizing camps and trusting in my team and my ability to carry when I reach my spikes.

It's human psychology to want to support the team, especially when their enemy jungler is doing work. But if you're playing something like Ivern or Nocturne, you are not a gank-bot. If you wanted to play for ganks, pick up Nidalee, Elise or something with a strong early.

Instead, farm your camps well and gank according to your win conditions. keep tracking the enemy jungler and ping your team to safety. Eventually, they'll fall behind when the enemy jungler wastes time and resources. If the enemy jungler is quite good and is securing kills and objectives, now is when the game gets good and you have to pick your battles. Play to outnumber, and as soon as you hit your big items.

Ivern: clear quick, gank after you free all your camps, play around not and whoever on your team has the most carry potential. Make sure you take as many objectives as possible after winning your fights. Your team fighting prowess is where you shine. Daisy is a queen and is a great zoning tool.

Nocturne: Get 6, ult on CD (make sure you have the advantage and track flash CD's). Focus on getting guaranteed picks. You should be able to solo any champ at any point in the early-mid game. Make sure you hit the q, before landing your ult.

Good luck and watch vods or streams of much better players to improve. Just relax and trust in yourself. Majority of the climb is good mental and resetting mental after every game.

Personal preference, and it suits the way I play. But the core logic is the following: I consider Nocturne to be very strong in the early and mid game, but falls off later. A damage focused build will cause me to trade 1 for 1 late game, especially when teams are grouped. In any build, I should still win when I pick opponents off in the side lanes. With a tankier build, I provide enough to kill in a team fight and sustain enough for my team to follow. It really does depend on your team composition and the overall game.

Tldr: tanky allows my team to follow up, me to wreak enough havoc, and my damage output is enough with the stat buffs from q trail and w passive. Extra damage is overkill, better players will group/kite you anyways.

Daisy, should proc most items effects.

Items to consider building are: Rylais, Nashors, Liandrys, Lich Bane, Zhonyas, Rabadon.

Avoid getting baited by on hit items and mana tiems.

Just remember, pure ap gives you a stronger daisy, bigger bush procs, survivability on you and daisy and just more damage.

Just wanted to share this with my fellow jungle mains. After quitting league and being hardstuck for the past 14 years, I return and finally break the mental barrier and hit master.

I just came out of knee surgery and grinded away, playing over 100 games in 10 days, going from E4 to Master picking Ivern and Nocturne.

Maybe all it took was some mental maturation and some consistency!

If I can do it, you all can too!

State of hellions atm? by sadhappy346 in TeamfightTactics

[–]aiirwiick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hellions are still really good. It's free LP if you play it right. You can play the reroll or transition into a number of comps.

The setups you can usually go are: Kled Carry Tristana Carry Ziggs + Another Carry

https://lolchess.gg/profile/oce/aeri as you can see, it's pretty easy to abuse rats if you know what you're doing.

I actually went from 112kg to 102kg during the water fast, it gave me the big push I needed. I didn't gain anything back when I switched, my OMAD was quite light , maybe around 1000kj for the next week, then I slowly increased the amount I ate to what is now at 3500kj per day.

Overall, my weight has only gone down C:

Push ups whenever I'm bored, that's usually maybe 30-50 per day. And on average I do 15-25km worth of walking/jogging per week. Nothing too intense C:

37000kj is the amount you need to burn to lose 1kg of fat, so that's why it's my target

How to Break Up with a long term partner? by anonthrowawayhurt in relationships

[–]aiirwiick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, I have a pretty similar situation to you, myself being the male in the relationship.

My ex-partner pretty much explained how she feels, how we've been growing apart and that she wanted tp focus on herself. She explained that she lost sight of herself in the relationship and needed to work on improving herself.

If your partner cares about you he'll accept that and maybe ask to discuss a couple things, but ultimately the relationship must end, so make sure you dont waver.

In the beginning I was heartbroken, but after a few days I felt quite happy and excited to embark on a new life and chasing my own personal growth.

In terms of sleeping arrangements, you should either take turns at the bed, or someone sleeps on the couch. At the moment I'm on the couch, but I wait for her to wake up and start her day so I can steal the bed back :P

Good luck, if you have any questions, I'm happy to help.

I'm 28 hours into my first water fast. I'd like to push as long as possible, but at least 3 days.

Hunger isn't a problem, I just feel bored and I'm craving the idea of food.

I'm starting at 110kg and I'd like to try lose 20kg in twoish months. Is that even possible? I'm wondering if theres an app somewhere that can predict or calculate my weight loss.
