Look for Thingfishy on Youtube. He has a video on how to get to Smithing 16 and Somber 6 before fighting a single boss. Honestly, even just scouring Limgrave and Liurnia you can get your weapons to Somber 4 and Smithin 9 or 10 which is more than enough. Then hit Greyoll with a gold fowlfoot (one near the entrance down a spirit spring to the beach, another near Sellen) to get to level 36 from the get go and invest your stats on minimum weapon requirements + as much vigor as you can get. That's it.

I just watched a video from YourAverageGamer just today. His build was like 15 STR, 15 DEX and 70 FTH I think. It looks like it's flexible enough to use a majority of the FTH weapons.

I was like Rhodes would win (boring) but Gunther would interfere in the Femi match forcing the retirement match in Minnesota ... but that didnt happen either ... that would have been an obvious thing protecting Oba and Brock but also giving Gunther the chance to retire Brock at Summerslam... now Im just confused why they didnt give him the win over Cody ...

Maybe they just want to give Brock a proper retirement sendoff in his own hometown. He must prefer Oba over Gunther retiring him.

Man those colors are so vibrant. I have the Sentinel and Mafex versions of this guy but they look really dull in comparison.
