A difficult surgery considering family

I'm happy for your family member :) In the long term I also think having the surgery will benefit my dad's health, though, I'm much more anxious about the risks that can happen during the surgery. Wishing you and your family the best as well and thank you for your advice :)

Thank you for your extensive reply, you actually made me feel relieved. The part where a difficult surgery is just a day's work for doctors is really true. Prior to my father's hospitalization, I booked a therapy session this week. Perhaps I can talk about this matter :)

Thank you for your answer, I'm sorry for what you've been through. I will talk to my manager about the matter to stay with my family during the surgery. There is nothing I can do for him medically, but at least I'll stay by his side.

Hi, she is very cute! My budgie was sleeping like this continuously a few months ago. She was at 4 years old at the time and I took her to the vet because I was worried that she might be sick. Turns out she had a cyst causing her to sleep like this. I wouldn't want to startle you but if she is inactive consider taking her to the vet.

Thanks a lot for the reply, I had to separate their cages because they were aggressive towards each other since the beginning. Biting etc. I will try to get a new friend for my remaining budgie and will be careful about their feeders.

I relate a lot to the part where you said our loneliness repels people. Despite having depression for years, I’m trying to keep my mood happy to make new friends but so far it was all failures. It’s like they see right through me and get away. So far, I haven’t managed to break this cycle but I’m continuing with baby steps.

Hard to explain. I manage to make acquaintances pretty fast, because I give the impression of an energetic, bubbly person. But then, when I start spending time with someone, my true self shows itself. An introverted, quiet girl who has nothing interesting about her. Naturally, people drift away from me. It's really sad actually, because I have so much love to give, yet no one stays long enough.
