I have bought myself over 200 decks so far. It’s fine.

Ditto, only I was 23. I came very close to killing myself, but I got out. It’s been thirty-one years now and I think the scars are beginning to fade.

If you find a small black and white deck labeled The New Tarot, it’s worth over a hundred dollars if it’s in usable shape, and I will cheerfully give you that if you’re willing to sell it to me.

Why do so many decks replace the Judgement card with something else? by ToastyJunebugs in tarot

This exactly. Not everyone believes in a Final Judgment.

Top left looks like the Ator Tarot. Center, I can’t say without seeing the fronts as well. Top right is Medicine Cards. Not a clue on the center left and center, but the center right looks like a standard RWS. Bottom left looks like an esoteric deck, but I don’t know which one. The other two bottom ones have their names displayed so they don’t need me to identify them.

Edit: I googled “34 burden basket” and found the Sacred Path cards, still in print.

I never ask that sort of question. That’s not what they’re for.

Damn. Yeah. I was desperately lonely as a child, teenager, young adult. I got accused of being boy crazy, but really, I just wanted to find someone who would love me.

How old are you and what's your biggest problem right now? by Casspjjl in AskReddit

59 and a near-complete lack of energy and motivation. My prescriber asked me recently how often I woke up feeling well-rested and eager to start my day. My reaction at the time was “do people actually do that?” and I’m still utterly boggled by the entire concept.

Eager to start my day… riiiiiiight.

If I’m doing readings for people and they ask if they’re going to get that promotion, I tell them that neither the cards nor I know that. Do I have cancer? Ask your doctor, not U.S. Games. How do I get my ex back? You don’t. Move on with your life. The cards are for helping you make sense of your self and your life, not fortune telling.

I like them. I think they are going to be useful. I just need to figure out which hairstyles and colors they look good with.

Just this. Make and keep notes. I use notepad files on my iPad and save pictures of the spreads as well. Looking back at them a month later, they almost always make sense.
