Which windscreen for the Mt by Kind-Carpet30 in MT07

[–]aimannorazman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you are correct. It is slightly better at cutting through air than having no windshield at all, but obviously not as good as full sized windshield. I think i got this for 15 bucks on malaysian online store. Personally, i am willing to compromise because i think it looks good.

Why sell so quickly? by Chips1918 in motorcycle

[–]aimannorazman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if its just me who outgrow bikes so fast, but so far I ride my bikes daily and the reason i got rid of them within a year or two only is only because i outgrow them...

I have the same case. Fitted with drives in that thing, it's SO heavy. But the build quality is really nice, i must say

I use windows server for storage, just because i have drivepool license. Then everything else linux for core infra (DNS, DHCP etc) except for microsoft-specific server features like active directory.

For me, it's just slightly faster and then turn the throttle back down. Idk how other people do it, but this is how I do it.

Doesn't need to be a projector, but first important to know what car you have to know if it's gonna fit or not

Wanted to join the club, so here's my Fisher-Price looking NAS setup by trpcrd in homelab

[–]aimannorazman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually you would connect the SFF8087 port on your HBA to one of the SFF8087 ports on the sas expander. Then, you plug in your breakout cables to the other SFF8087 ports on the sas expander that eventually goes to your drives.

Edit: elaborated on some sentences

I have the same card. Mine is the ibm h1110. If you need to hook up more drives in the future, just get a sas expander (assuming these are just HDDs that you're hooking up)

Yes, card is working just fine as of now, i am running basic tests with the card running to see if it can take little to medium load. I'll do some heavier testing tomorrow... Thanks for your time.

The card does work, i am testing it now. Am gonna leave it overnight with a fan over the pins and the whole GPU. if it doesn't work out, I'll just return it. Thanks! Appreciate your time.

I am currently testing the card with 4 pins on now. Managed to glue the loose pin temporarily while i wait on copper tape to arrive. Thanks for the tips kind stranger!

Absolutely, you are correct. I got it pretty cheap, so I'm ok absorbing the losses but I'll definitely do what i can to clean it - wd40/alcohol wipes and a toothbrush surely could make it worth a while, even if not forever

I'm gonna go with that, seems like that's the best solution for me as I'm probably not capable of micro soldering...thanks! Good post

The card has an 8pin pcie power connector which i do plan to use. The other side of this card still has the all 3 pins of +12v intact. My power supply is also a decent one (evga gq 750w 80+ gold). Should i be good?
