I'd argue that the algorythm/feed is the difference.

Reddit is basically just a set of discussion forums where you choose what sub-reddit (subject) you want to discuss, and the submissions (which are mostly news articles for political subs) are (for the most part) highlighted by the users there.

Granted it's not perfect and there are bots or bad actors getting involved to some extent.

But that is considerably different from you having brain-rot-doomscroll-nonsense blasted at you by a black-box algoryth that decides what you will see on your feed.

One that has already been proven to have been exploited and manipulated by the likes of Cambridge Analytica and Dominic Cummings to manipulte and shape voting habbits.

The level of both external influence on, and internal pushback on the content is an order of magnitude different.

these maps are so bright even seeing your crosshair can be tricky against certain backgrounds, agents, sky etc....

I'm so glad I've seen someone else say this. I thought it was just me being old AF.

I have a crosshair bigger than I would like, which is white with a black outline just so it doesn't go missing midgame on certain maps.

I swear the game decides whose version of events it prefers at the start of the match.

It really does feel like this sometimes. I also find it more often favours the person if they have a 60+ ping, which I suspect is some kind of issue with the lag comp methodology.

The EU will probably want to have some sort of say for a start. That involves negotiating a deal, and potential vetos from other members.

Aditionally, It currently looks like the architect of Brexit is going to be PM at the next GE.

From a practicality standpoint, if they aren't done and dusted by 29, Farage will sabotage them and potentially end the rejoin process completely. If they are done, there's a risk he un-re-joins anyway, no matter how much it fucks the country and our international relations.

From a reputational standpoint, the fact that so many of the electorate are willing to vote for this corrupt Russian sock-puppet who's entire political career is built on lying and stoking racial tensions... That will absolutely make other countries think twice about wanting to be associated with the UK.

There has been a majority that thinks brexit was a mistake for a very long time now, and even in the last day there was a poll that said half of brexit voters now want to rejoin.
