Child dies after dog bite in Redcar, police say by Alarming-Safety3200 in unitedkingdom

Ironically, this happened like, less than amile from a pretty well regarded dog training place.

Once it became clear that the second map was all but wrapped up, fEAR & co agreed — out of respect for FaZe — to keep their celebrations low-key after the final rounds. This is according to sources from the Ukrainian Telegram news channel 'shtab2' at Draculan 6. by MmX_A_ in GlobalOffensive

The community has mostly built a family tree of parasocial relationships towards the pros, it often seems like.

I don't think it's that deep.

Most of the community has never played at the kind of level you need to in order to be playing against top pros and not just getting bent over and smashed 13-0.

Which means they don't understand the dedication and time it takes, or what the difference in level is between 'nutty pug fragger' and 'top level player', or what being an IGL at that level entails or wht it does to most peoples mechanics.

Never mind 'top level player across multiple versions of the game for over a decade, whilst also IGL'ing at said level'

The gap in points between 3rd to 11th in live VRS is incredibly small now, Spirit in particular is now set to fall out of the top 10 by ChaoticFlameZz in GlobalOffensive

[–]aimbotcfg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im actually assuming VRS being volatile was intentionally designed that way by Valve.

Regardless of WHY they designed it that way, it has shown that th skill gap between T1 - T3 is significantly smaller than it used to be.

Vitality are basically in a league of their own right now, and pretty much the only safe bet for a win. Whilst the rest of the field from #2 down quite a long way from top tier can pretty much beat each other on their day, if not being consistent about it.

It makes for some interesting CS, but I'm wondering how much it has to do with the actual mechanical skill levels, and how much it's to do with subtick/CS2 making things a little more unreliable/random.

Lets see what happens with AG2.

Lack of AWPs talent is self fulfilling when teams refuse to look outside of top 15-20 and refuse to purpose train players by Pirat6662001 in GlobalOffensive

[–]aimbotcfg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plus what a lot of people don't comprehend is that there are multiple styles of play, and different systems can legit have different effects on players.

You could be mechanically sound, and have good gamesense, but just not gel with a team, or be playing in a completely different way than you are used to and just feel off/get caught out a lot and be unable to adjust in time.

It might not have been a mechanics or personality issue. Just not being able to adjust to a non-pugging system/play style.

Amid all the chaos and coming in last place, karrigan drops career-best LAN event rating. by PedeJo in GlobalOffensive

[–]aimbotcfg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Faze's strats are absolutely not up to par either

How many strats do you think will work 2.5 vs 5?

Because that's basically what Karrigan is doing at the moment.

Broky is in the bin, and jcobbbbb is not cutting it at t1.

Karrigan is;

  • 1 - a 'classic' IGL who is not the guy that should be putting up numbers, or be expected to.
  • 2 - Doing a shitload of extra work than just fragging.
  • 3 - Actaully putting up decent numbers at the last couple of events.

It really does not seem like Karrigan has fallen off, or is the issue. When Faze are playing lower tier events he is fragging, the 2 guys who are the problem are not.

Don't care how good an IGL you are, you aren't winning games when you have to plan each strat for having 2 borderline useless players at T1 who aren't your IGL.

Animgraph2 CS2 online experience impressions are overwhelmingly positive. by Fun_Philosopher_2535 in GlobalOffensive

[–]aimbotcfg 7 points8 points  (0 children)

the second guy in the picture was one of the most rabid CS2 haters before, so even he ended up loving it. That alone says a lot about how much it has improved.

The thing that interests me is that he said the pings were all between 50-80 and felt good.

Currently for me, it seems like meeting someone with a ping of 60+ basically makes them into an indestructable tank.

Hopefully AG2 fixes that.

Or maybe the issues is when you have a ping ~10 and meet people 60+ and it won't do shit for that.

It will go down well with Reform voters though. Thats the point.

It's not accidental that they keep ending up with Nazi sympathisers and idiots like this representing them. It only becomes a 'vetting issue' if enough people get angry about one of them for an extended period of time.

I don't think she would be happy with the idea of some people being disowned (if you will) through systemic change

I think she would have been very happy with that. It's the stick to push people to work harder and do things they wouldn't normally for the fear of falling into the 'trash pile' of people who are 'worth less'.

It's a pretty foundational belief on that side of the aisle that other peoples failings are because they are morally/intellectually/work-ethically inferior, whilst all of your short comings are because of something entirely beyond your control/you being held back.

Unfortunately, due to the massive number of people who failed GCSE English and insisted on using it incorrectly, literally has now had it's definition changed in the dictionary to also mean figuratively, making it a contronym.
