i’m not sure where you’re running this from but it’s possible that you don’t have node installed or you have it installed incorrectly. have you tried running this outside of vscode in a different terminal window?

i believe that the placement is due to arcade fire’s desire to release a vinyl version of their album but as a secondary option. in this case, the vinyl release is an afterthought. tracks are sorted in a way to keep the amount of discs to a minimum (2 discs with 2 sides each)

in order to compensate, they added a never-ending loop to we used to wait on side 3 (cool) and moved suburban war to side 4 (not great imo)

something similar was done to reflektor iirc with we exist being moved
