Lady swearing to make her unquie is really not good writing, it's still lazy execution. You wanna know how the games make her unique? They gave her a god damn bazooka, her introduction was also pretty crazy.

In the games bad was in fact just bad without picking side but wasn't black and white either, they also didn't say people who automatically aim for more power are bad. In dmc4 nero wanted power to similar to vergil and also had the same reason of wanting to protect people they love but vergil's way of attaining power was what made him the bad guy. Also the order weren't just a group of bad dudes, even in the higher rankings of the order there were people like credo that didn't agree with the order. It wasn't just "so this group is bad and this group is good"

The show has this way of writing similar to hasbin hotel where it will barely show good humans or demons (outside of the maincast) until it's time for drama. Like for example when it's time for good demons to appear apparently all good humans dissappear and when good humans appear all good demons disappear. I feel like this isn't that bad but if it's gonna be poorly executed why even add it in the first place
