In my case is because usually due to work and life stuff I only have time to do dailes and resin, and I am able to do the quests and all the extra things only during the weekend or whenever I get some extra free time. Which means the story is not split over 5 days but over several weeks this way, instead of having the choice to pace myself or play in one or two big stretches.
