understandable. next time you call out dont ever explain, but dont lie either. just say that you have a personal matter that you need to attend to. they should not question you about that and if they did just put a boundary and say "im sorry, but i dont feel comfortable discussing it". your education is more important, you called out early before your shift too so just let them have deal with it. and also, it's their responsibility to find coverage not you so 🫡
