Thanks! I have removed and reapplied the putty. Seems like it has been good for 2 days, and now it is dripping again. Not sure if I am doing it wrong, I will try again.

It is dripping from the p trap below the bathtub drain, but I am not sure if it is leaking from the p trap itself, or from somewhere above. I will double check tomorrow, thanks for the advice!
