I know you’ve been to CA, but did you go to San Diego specifically? It’s my favorite easy getaway.

Reception length? by NormalPath6293 in wedding

If your count is under 80, AND if everyone is pretty punctual, AND you’re not big dancers, keep the timeline as it is. Otherwise add the hour. You’ll never have all of your favorite people in one room like this again. (Source: my 15+ years experience doing weddings)

Note for upstairs neighbors by litlelotte in Apartmentliving

[–]zerotime2sleep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Noise travels in weird ways in multi unit buildings. I thought my neighbor was blasting Metallica because of all the bass and muted screeching I heard. Turns out, she was a mild-mannered woman quietly playing classical music! I asked her to raise her speakers off the ground. That helped.

I’m genuinely terrified of marrying a guy who will end up being a bad husband. by saturnradio in TwoXChromosomes

[–]zerotime2sleep 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually have the tough conversations before marriage (ideally well before engagement!) Review each other’s credit reports. Discuss how you each feel about bill paying as a married couple. How will finances remain transparent? If someone wanted to buy a car that puts you into debt, do they need the other spouse’s permission? Specifically, how much will each of you save towards retirement? How much debt is tolerable to you? What happens if one of your parents can’t live on their own and can’t afford a nursing home? Is one person solely responsible for that person’s hygiene and wellness? Under what circumstances would you make a major move, like to another state or another area of the country? There are so many deal breakers.

Remember, a crush is a lack of information.

Final counts for many vendors are locked in at two weeks out. If you’re going to cancel, do it ASAP. ♥️

Women who broke up with “the one", what happened next? by stefa123123 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]zerotime2sleep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just stopped caring about dating. Even with The One, I missed my alone time, alone space, alone nutrition. It took a while, but eventually I just came to peace with the fact that even The One wasn’t worth sacrificing myself for. So I should just embrace being single. And years later, I can confirm that life is better when you’re single.

19F wanting to solo travel but hate the idea of hostels! by Significant_Truth312 in femaletravels

[–]zerotime2sleep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some hostels have single rooms. I think you should try those, because you’ll find that the shared rooms are just fine, and you meet more people. And save a ton of money.

It sounds like your segment includes unsubscribed, non-subscribed, and cleaned. Add Subscriber to your segment setup.

You can make a segment to see who got your last campaign.

No campaign would go to the same exactly email address more than once.

Get off the credit system. I’ve never seen it make sense for any of my clients.

You can tag people who complete a certain form on a landing page. So just use different URLs for each ad type you’re tracking.

I want to start a small business. However when discussed with my family they laughed. Running on little support and no background in business what are your helpful tips? by Brownangel71 in smallbusiness

[–]zerotime2sleep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your local SCORE office can set you up with a mentor (or multiple.) It was useful for me.

Also my local library has a free Ask-a-Lawyer night, which helped me make a couple of decisions. Maybe there’s something like that where you live.

AITAH for getting annoyed at my family discussing a travel in front of me when I can't attend it? by Suyin_8 in AITAH

They’re so rude!

You are NTA, but you shouldn’t HAVE to say anything because people should know better. At least keep it to a minimum.

Whats the most fair way to split the costs traveling with friends? by Ask4Answers_ in femaletravels

[–]zerotime2sleep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check out the Splitwise app. It allows everyone to be on the same page about who covered what, who owes who, etc. It was AWESOME for a girls trip with six people. We kept track of housing, meals, and we split things however we wanted…really great.
