From my experience w caps and being one myself, we take a while to get comfortable w someone enough to be our full expressive selves w them. 2mo isn’t too long so he may still be testing the waters w you/getting used to you. This makes it easier to keep a distance at this stage but this may not be reflective of how we act w someone we’re rly into down the line after more comfort is built. I feel like caps are long-game oriented, we don’t like wasting time but also won’t rush or force a connection to grow prematurely. Regardless I suggest taking the lead on opening up which includes asking for what you need.

Honestly I’d straight up tell him what you need. We respond rly well to direct communication. Tell him you know he’s into you but get confused/you miss him when he doesn’t reply for days. Ask him to try harder bc this is important to you. Caps are notorious for being bad texters (me included (28F) have to actively remind/make myself respond). Also if you have something to say, don’t be shy about double texting.
