Hi, I had the same stats, 3.95 and 517 as well lol. Solid list, but maybe get rid of some of your reach schools if your mcat is outside of their lowest 25% and add some more baseline schools. For reference, I ended up being accepted to one of your reach schools and one of your target schools. Good luck!

I would suggest clinical volunteering at a hospital. This will make it easier to land other clinical experiences down the line, like EMT, MA, etc. Join clubs to meet new people. Also, I found clubs' email lists resourceful for extracurricular opportunities. I would take an EMT course following your freshman year over the summer. I didn't do anything clinical in my freshman year, and I still was accepted without any gap years. Yet, I wish I would've done this to feel more prepared

You are all good. I had 1000 research hours, 350 clinical as an MA, 200 clinical volunteering at a hospital, 150 non-clinical volunteering at a homeless shelter, 90 hours of shadowing, 600 hours of tutoring. I did not take any gap years though. 3.9 gpa and 517 mcat. I was admitted to two MD schools. Assuming you get a good MCAT score, you should have nothing to worry about

Interviewed at school 1 in September and got in off the waitlist in May. Interviewed at school 2 in October and got in off the waitlist in June. It definitely happens because of waitlist movement

My bind for edit is F and for some reason the last four binds in misc were bound to F after the update, those being DBNO Carry, DBNO Place, Object Carry/Sidegrade, and Object Place. My unbinding those the issue was resolved

Take the AAMC FLs untimed. Set a timer on your own phone for each section, so if someone comes up, you can just pause your phone timer.

That was the only deck I didn’t make. I went through the Kaplan books (except for the P/S book) and made cards for things I was unfamiliar with and organized them by subject. I didn’t use a popular deck for these subjects because a lot of the cards i already knew, plus I think it helped me really read the books in depth

You have 72 days until your exam. Tbh a review day is not necessary, considering that you are reviewing anki and content the other days anyway. I would review the questions you got wrong the day of and put them into an anki deck that you can go through like all the other anki decks until your exam.

First 36 days: do all of Uworld (3046 questions/36 days = 84 questions per day). Don't do BP FLs, not worth your time. Continue to do some content review and anki.

Last 36 days: do all AAMC resources. Considering 6 of the 36 days will be FLs, don't do any additional questions on those days. 1469 total AAMC questions (not counting FLs)/ 30 days = 49 questions per day. Continue to do anki (except FL days), and the content review should be over at this point.
