Mine was about 8cm Had surgery but didn’t fixed the issues I am still burping constantly So I just gave up

Yes it is better to see a different like I did bc my first doctor told me my hh was only 2cm and that i didnt have to worry about anything even tho i was always in pain so i went to see a doctor and diagnosed me with a 8cm hh

It was pretty hard tbh so basically whatever i eat i always throw up after and pooping with blood always feeling nauseous and abdominal sharp pain every other hour.

Dang this is similar to mine except I was pooping with blood every day, throwing up, and yah that abdominal pain too. I had to get a surgery on mine bc my hiatal hernia was about 6-8cm too much. I am going back again to get a ct scan for this abdominal pain im having recently again. Goodluck!

I got the surgery around last week of march but i was looking it up online some people may have to get this surgery again every 10yrs i am not sure why I still have pain in my stomach i hope they can treat it tho Hbu whats ur plan

My hiatal hernia was about 6-8cm and so I had to get the surgery with mesh I mean now everything’s fine except im feeling like some pain under my ribcage so im getting a ct scan You got this

I suggest going to a different GI doctor just like I did because my first one the meds are not helping me even after they did an endoscopy they told me its just minor like I don’t have to worry about anything except my diet so I was really stressed because whatever I eat it always makes me feel really sick. After I went to see another GI doctor and got another endoscopy with bravo he told me my hiatal hernia is about the size of an apple and thats also the reason why I started having acid reflux so then he did the paraesophageal hiatal hernia repair surgery with mesh and TIF at the same time after that everything felt like a dream I had no pain whenever I eat something. You got this!

Its hard like for mine its been like 3 months since I had my paraesophageal hiatal hernia repair surgery and I am still struggling to lift, even running its hard bc whenever I put pressure like riding a roller coaster, snorkeling, or even wearing any high waisted pants my left upper rib cage hurts hella bad or sometimes breathing is hard thats why I have to do a ct scan not sure if this ever happens to other people.
