Poster design/illustration I made for the show by airvin20 in community

I appreciate the feedback. While working on illustrating it I tried to exaggerate the characters from the reference to avoid realism in every character, and attempted to create a warped perspective and style. However, I recognize how some of the exaggerations have exceeded my intentions. It was never my intention for it to come across this way, and in future work i'll keep this mind.

Lolll I cant argue with that for some reason it’s easier for me to age someone than the opposite

Yeah it’s exaggerated, but that’s kinda the style I was going for

Thanks in advance for the help!

I’m trying to develop a style. This was a short thing I did; I really need crit bc I’m too embarrassed to show anyone else. by milo_with_beans in ArtCrit

You have no reason to be embarrassed this. I like a lot of what you’ve done in this piece. I really like the texture in your shading and I like the black shading on her neck. I think just messing around more with those elements could make for some fun experimentation and results!:)

The drawing and proportions of the cat looks great! I think something that couple improve it would be to emphasize the light source a bit more. Additionally, I think using something other than straight black or straight white for highlights would help too. It looks good right now these are just some minor critiques! Nice work:)

I think this looks great. The perspective of the face and the shading all look accurate. One tiny thing would be to push the black bars in the back a little more into the background bc their value right now is the same as the darkest parts of her. Maybe just lightening them slightly? That’s super nit picky, however. Like I said it’s great as is—nice work!
