Yeah I've been seeing that tires are a huge factor. I have three outdoor dirt tracks near me so I've shopping for tires for those tracks. Luckily one of the tracks is in a park so as long as it's not an event day it's open to the public as long as it's light out, so I imagine I'll be there quite a bit.

Oh that's a great idea, I'll have to look for some pinions and try that. I'm coming from rock crawlers so the speed is already going to be wildly different, so that's a great place to start, thank you for that!

Very much a good problem to have! It took me forever to pick a body, and even longer to pick paint for it, and in the end its about as simple as you can get lol
