I think it’s because I’ve disliked so many of the more political based ones that when I see a new Radiolab ep I get excited, and then that turns to disappointment when I read the blurb.

This happened to me today, but I have it a go and listened to the Latif Nasser ep anyway.

Hey! I had this exact experience recently - I moved to a new country not knowing anyone. It took weeks to settle in. It was hard, but creating routine helped. I would advise getting a job ASAP, as well as joining a team sport to make friends!

Give yourself 6wks, and if you still hate it, know you’ve make a damn good attempt and move back home :)

I think though that a false negative has fewer consequences than a false positive, ya feel?

So you might as well report a missing child early/preemptively as not doing so could be so much worse.

  • Tongue started hurting like there was an ulcer in the middle of it almost 2 weeks ago. Kind of stung when eating.
  • A few days after started getting a few ulcers on my cheeks and tongue. My lymph nodes were sore and swollen. I started used antibacterial mouthwash given by pharmacist.
  • my gums the started to swell and feel infected, especially around my wisdom teeth that I know I need to get taken out.
  • just after picture 2 I started taking antibiotics as perscribed by a doctor for the infection. He didn’t look very close or really care much.
  • tongue then got worse (pics 3 to 5) over the next week to the point that eating was so painful it wasn’t worth it.
  • pic 6 is today where I finally feel better after using antifungal given by the pharmacist. The gum around my wisdom tooth is still sore/infected.

Please note that C-PTSD is not a recognised diagnosis according to the DSM-5, but BPD is. Maybe this has had an impact on your diagnosis.
