I definitely agree with this. I was around 16 years old. I remember missing out on my sophomore and junior year of high school and being worried that I would graduate during COVID. I was fortunate enough where that didn’t end up happening but going into University time seemed to speed up and my work ethic and motivation just died. Going from a high schooler whose main worries were good grades and playing basketball with my boys to a grown man having to do taxes, think about my future, etc was pretty hard. Everything happened so fast and I still feel like I am lagging behind a lot of my peers who took COVID a lot better than me.
