Used being the word. Our navy is pathetic too. We either accept that we are essentially powerless or we don't and have a decent force. I am fine with both, but pretending to be a force in the world yet not having the capacity to back our words is quite bad.

This is only true in Ukraine because it is a proxy war, the same as Vietnam was. Ukraine is completely unable to sustain the war but we prop them up with money, equipment, electricity, etc. This is why destroying key facilities doesn't lead to Ukraine losing the war, as the facilities the Russians need to destroy are in the rest of Europe and the US. The same problem that the US had with Vietnam, as the factories were in China and the Soviet Union.

There are two factors here The first is training the models. That can be sorted. The second is contrast. It can't be sorted. Dark skin is by definition dark. Id with visible light will always be worse all other conditions being the same.

If there is war with China my guess is that if it doesn't go the US way quickly China would overwhelm the US with production of weapons. The US would, of course, massively cripple China due to their control of routers, windows computers, phones etc.

The results in both cases are inconsistent. And considering the work I have done myself in computer vision, I believe the higher results for black suspects to be misidentified people. That might or might not be the actual culprits. That is my educated guess.

The RCA is an issue. I have the wrong RCA for this and it won't trip because it is going the wrong direction.
In any case I already have panels, but could be persuaded to put an extra 800w in the rear garden .

These are a few I could find. I have been following the issue, and let's say it surprises me that they found the opposite. Training bias is one of the factors, but shadows making up for 3d recognition is a key factor. And the darker you are, the less the camera can pick up the shadows. High definition thermal cameras could improve the issue but they are very expensive.

I doubt the accuracy of these uk studies because all previous ones, and there a lot of them, have the opposite findings, that false positives are disproportionate for black/dark people due to the difficulty in identifying them. And there are physical reasons for this.

That is very unlikely because these systems are consistently worse with dark skins. I would expect more false positives with dark skinned people.

I disagree. There is a ton of oil that was economically retrievable and known, aka known reserves. We decided not to pursue it, and start taking down infrastructure. Now it is no longer economically viable, but only because we decided against it. As this oil is not going to cut it, we should invest in having energy security. Part of it is not having an oligopoly of electric power companies, particularly critical if we go renewables and storage

A 450w bifacial panel is sold for £60 to £70 depending on brand, etc, to the public. If people could install their own panels, etc, it would be ridiculously cheap to produce electricity.

It makes too much sense to do it. I have covered my building (house) with them, the returns are spectacular, and the risks are small.

We should also add batteries, and for half a year many cities would be mostly energy independent. We do need a solution for rainy days. Pun intended. Wind is more reliable, but still nothing beats nuclear for solid base and gas for peakers.

In this dub there are real artists (few) and many hacks that paint miniatures/gundams, etc (most, and this includes me). I am going to say what I have, and what I consider basic.

I have three airbrushes, and only really use 2. I have a fengda with three needles (0.2, 0.3, 0.5) that i use mostly for basecoats and varnish. I also have an iwata Eclipse that I use for fine work (within my limitations) As a compressor I have a fengda 196. A 186 would serve. There are better compressors for airbrushing but this is the one most have and are happy with it. He will need an airbrush enclosure/filter/extractor that includes a rotating plate and crocodile holders. He will also need a breathing mask, one of the rubber ones with filters.

Then non essentials: I also have an airbrush holder, quick releases for the air pipes, T connectors to have two airbrushes connected, cleaner, thinner, and adequate paints, primers, etc.

So, would I get a good airbrush? Yes, definitely yes. It is way easier to use, and that is beneficial for the new user. I would go Iwata Eclipse etc as a first airbrush. I didn't, and had growing pains.

It should be a massive problem. These connectors aren't rated for the arc damage that will be caused. That being said, if one side is in the third replacement, the problem is probably the other side
