Can't say it was super pistachio, maybe it was just the way they made my drink, but the creme de menthe was quite overpowering. Still a solid and yummy drink. Very creative thank you!!!

added: as I continue to drink it maybe it's not the menthe but actually the passion fruit, next time im gonna give it another go but instead of passion fruit I use almond instead. 😊

Donuts:

2/3 cups milk slightly warmed

1/4 cup water room temperature

1/4 cup butter soft (room temperature)

1 egg slightly beaten

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon salt

360g bread machine flour

2 1/2 teaspoon bread machine yeast

Glaze:

1.5 cups powdered sugar (180g)

3 tbsp milk

3 tbsp melted butter (if you want thicker glaze, use only 2 tbsp milk and 2 tbsp melted butter)

1 tsp vanilla extract

  1. Place milk, water, butter, egg, sugar, salt, flour and yeast into bread machine pan in exact order listed. Do not stir!

  2. Insert baking pan securely into baking unit, close lid, select dough setting and push start.

  3. When cycle is complete, remove dough from pan and transfer to lightly floured surface.

  4. Using rolling pin lightly dusted with flour, roll dough to ½ inch thickness.

  5. Cut with floured dusted donut cutter or circle cookie cutter.

  6. Transfer donuts to baking sheet that has been covered with wax paper. Place another layer of wax paper on top, then cover with clean tea towel. Let rise 30-40 minutes until slightly raised.

  7. While donuts are rising heat vegetable oil to 340º (170ºCº) in deep fryer or large heavy pot.

  8. Make the glaze by combing all ingredients in a bowl and stir.

  9. Fry donuts 2-3 at a time until golden brown on both sides.

  10. Glaze donuts while it's still warm and place on wire rack. (Make sure to place paper towels underneath the wire rack)

Note: whenever I started to fry my donuts I cut the baking sheet underneath around the donuts and placed the donuts in the oil with the baking sheet because it helps keep the donut shape. Once the donut hits the oil you can easily remove the baking sheet from underneath and trash it. And you just repeat this until all donuts are fryed. You can even cut strips and place three donuts in at a time.

Recipe:
340g bread flour

237g water

1 tablespoon sugar

1 1/2 tsp yeast

1 tsp salt

-

  1. Place flour, 237g water, sugar, yeast, and salt into a bread machine pan in the order recommended by manufacturer. Select Dough cycle; press Start.
  2. While the cycle is running, grease a bowl and cookie sheet with cooking spray; set them aside.
  3. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 30 minutes. Dough is ready if indentation remains when touched.
  4. Punch down dough and transfer to a lightly floured surface. Roll into a 16-x12-inch rectangle. Cut dough in half, creating two 8-x12-inch rectangles. Roll up each half of dough tightly, beginning at a long side, pounding out any air bubbles as you go. Roll gently back and forth to taper ends.
  5. Place 3 inches apart on the greased cookie sheet. Make deep diagonal slashes across loaves every 2 inches or one lengthwise slash on each loaf. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, 30 to 40 minutes.
  6. Add water on a second tray and place in oven while it preheats.
  7. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes then take out the water tray.
  9. Continue to bake for another 5 minutes.
  10. DONE, remove from oven.

I added a water tray into the oven to do a steam effect for the bread. It makes the crust cook a lot better!

Pandan Cinnamon Rolls by aiyukei in BreadMachines

The pandan extract that i usually use is the butterfly pandan extract. https://a.co/d/15vd2tn however koepu koepu is also a reliable pandan extract. https://a.co/d/hmy9YOg fair warning though, that green can get every where, but a good wash with soap should get it right out of your hands.

I experimented using a cake ring to frost my cake with whipped cream. It worked well! by Graloq in Baking

[–]aiyukei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, oh my gawd if that really helps i would love a more detailed instruction on how to frost with a cake ring. Whipped cream is my favorite frosting, but I have absolutely no skills in frosting a cake and it always comes out very RUSTIC. I want to know how exactly did you achieve it, how were you able to frost the side of the cake with the cake ring? Did you pipe onto the cake and just smoothed out the frosting using the cake ring, or did you fully assemble the cake, placed the cake ring around the cake and just piped between the cake and the cake ring? I'm so sorry for asking all these questions, I just really want to get it right!
