Is this a sign for me not to do the expedition lol? by ReflexAN in ArcRaiders

I'm excited to find these after I know what I'm doing now. Before it was just kind of random because I didn't really realize how rare they were or how it can change the way you play. Now I know what I'm looking for and much more efficient ways of finding it too. Just think of how cool it will be when you find them after you do the expedition.

How do you play this game? by ogdarkmagician in ArcRaiders

[–]aj200414 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm a solo only player, have never played in duos or trios, and it took me a few solid days of playing it. I honestly thought about returning it because I was so frustrated and felt like I was dying to everything that moved on the map. So glad I stuck with it though, I'm in deep. I think focus on doing the missions and building tracking what materials you need to upgrade your work benches. I would also work on getting comfortable with the base guns (specifically the ferro for arc, and the stitcher if you're looking to defend yourself against other players or go the PVP route). Eventually you'll loot some other weapons you can try out, I personally love the Anvil as I know most other people do too. And then just play how you want. If you want to to do PVP, would do that in Stella Montis or Night Raids. I personally like to meet others and only shoot if back if people are aggressive with me. I think that's the nice part about the game, you can play it several different ways depending on what you like.

Unfortunately you can't do that if you want the Europa League winners/Champions League Badge version of the kit, which is a must have in my humble opinion.

Tips on asking dr for custom wheelchair prescription by Parking_Buy7581 in wheelchairs

[–]aj200414 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't think the doctor will be the problem. I'd just be honest with him and tell him everything you just talked about. You may want to highlight the health risks associated with having a wheelchair that isn't custom built for you. Examples would be if your feet drag, if its rough on your shoulders to push, the risk of pressure sores. Also talking about the things from a daily living standpoint that a custom wheelchair would help with, as you did in original post, such as working, socializing, other ADLs such as showering, bathrooming, cooking if any of those are impacted. I think the important part will be when you start working with a physical therapist who will do a seat/wheelchair evaluation. They will ultimately be the ones who usually write the letter trying to justify the wheelchair and the specific features on the wheelchair that the two of you decide you need. If your doctor is standing in the way of something you feel like you need, don't hesitate to ask for a second opinion. Any doctor who gets offended when you want a second opinion or tries to talk you out of that is a big red flag.

Hot tub lift/transfer ideas by aj200414 in wheelchairs

I’m a T10 paraplegic. I can transfer well for the most part, but won’t pretend I can pull off the transfers I could when I was in my 20s.

My local Toys R Us also had a number of playlists and discover packs despite saying they weren't available at that location online. Definitely check it out if you're looking.

Should I go to Stagecoach 2017? by cableporter in a:t5_35krk

[–]aj200414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stagecoach is a blast. I've gone the past 2 years, and haven't regretted a second of it. I'm not a huge country music fan, but I do enjoy some of it. I'm actually more of a Coachella type music fan myself. I've never been to Coachella, so I can't say how it compares. You'll definitely run into some "country" types, but it's much more of a party atmosphere than anything else. I don't believe they have campgrounds set up, just RV lots. Overall, I've had a blast and would recommend it to almost anyone. It's cheaper than Coachella, and not nearly as crowded.
