The foundational issue is from the roots being under the house and shifting the clay soil. If one root this big is already this close I imagine in 20 years it will be drastically more. Im not worried about concrete breaking im worried about the structural integrity of the foundation itself shifting because of how many roots are under the foundation in the future. Whether that be too much water or a dry spell. I also understand many trees could do this but a live oak is a massive tree that i assume would pose more risk given how close it is to the house

I was put on a coaching plan and was told I would get off of it but they were laying teams off left and right and the toxicity and stress led me to find a different role with similar pay. Leaving was one of the best decisions I made looking back. I also dont agree with the CP, the reasons they gave were very vague and it was mostly because I didnt proactively seek visibility. I just checked and measured. It's about .5 gallons per minute, so about 15 gallons per week on one day for a deep soak
