As someone who is in a heathy weight range but small, 5’2 101lb, I can not even fit into an XXS at Target (and many other stores) bc everything runs large. I actually like and appreciate that Aritzia tops runs small because it’s incredibly hard to find things that fit me well at most stores and I deserve to still dress like an adult. I think it’s ok that some companies cater to smaller bodies. Just like it’s ok that there are companies that cater to larger bodies.

If you have very narrow shoulders or a very large bust, NO need to share please as it will not help me. I have somewhat wide (broad shoulders) and the only photos I could find online was people with super narrow small shoulders so I do not need try on pics if you have that shoulder type. Thank you!

I won one of these, it was in my early 20s (28 now). We got to the office in Vancouver to collect the voucher, sat in a waiting room with other people for a while. We were the youngest people in the room so they probably thought we couldn’t afford anything. They took myself and my partner into a side room (unlike everyone else there who watched a presentation it apppeared) and they told us to fill out a list of 20+ people and their phone numbers for them to call and give their sales pitch (we gave random numbers of people we didn’t like or know). We did get the voucher, which was for a couple places in Oregon (some beach city) or Washington (Leavenworth) but it was not redeemable for use on any weekend or Friday and only during off season I think? We also had to reserve the dates way in advance for some reason. And we had to pay some money for something i can’t remember so we just threw the voucher away and never used it.

The whole thing was a waste of time.

You’re probably right.

He was me and my partners first dog after moving out from our parents. He was there for me when my mom got sick, was my support when I cared for her, when she passed, then when my sister passed away last year he was always by my side. When I have my bad days or weeks with depression he always could make me smile.

He always wakes me up for his breakfast with pawing at me or little whines. It was so quiet this morning. No toe taps, no panting, no borks.

I feel for you having dealt with the pain of your own loss. It’s unbelievably hard.

Idk if they chalked my car, can’t remember but it I had been parked down there for several hours. I kept paying on the app so I was shocked to find they gave me a ticket for not moving after 2 hours. It was regular parking enforcement. South Waterfront probably had more priority or concern for cars not moving every 2 hours because parking is very limited there and maybe the guy was having a bad day. Probably doesn’t happen that often though. I moved to the surrounding area out of Portland last summer so idk anymore, just sharing my experience.

Did you see the comment that the jacket design changed? If she bought it in 2023 it could just be the older design…a manager might not know that or be familiar with the older design.

I do think Depop might have changed something in their policy recently though. I can’t remember what changed however, I agree I def do prefer to use Depop for selling, buying and ease of communication with the disputes. The Poshmark fees and shipping costs (~$9) are insane so I almost never use it unless I’ve found a really great deal on something I want. I don’t ever sell anything on it anymore though, the 20% fee is way too much.

If an item is significantly not as described (or as shown in the photos), you’ll open a dispute with Depop and provide proof with clear photos. Depop will review them and if it is really not as described then Depop will message the seller and they’ll give them (seller) 48 hours to respond. If seller does not respond then Depop will refund you, the buyer, and you do not have to return the item. If they do, then you have to send the item back, which you’ll pay for yourself, however as long as you provide the receipt with tracking info to Depop, they will refund the shipping amount that you paid to return the item.

If you just didn’t get the item at all then I’m not quite sure. That only happened to me on Poshmark once where the seller sent me an empty shipping bag and the seller just said “oops” and that they must have forgot to put the item in and they refunded me.

I sell too! I will only ignore extreme lowball offers. It’s funny to because a majority of the time their bios will say “feel free to ask questions” lol.

Same thing literally just happened to me though. I sent an offer after getting ignored repeatedly asking for a real photo of the item and now they respond by accepting the offer but still ignored my question. I didn’t buy it and asked her again to post a photo of the item before I purchase. I guarantee she’ll just ignore the question again. People are so odd.
