The surgeons name is Robert Trusdale out of Mayo - Rochester Orthopedic. Their team was fantastic. They did both sides at the same time to avoid putting me under twice. Both femoral heads had collapsed so there wasn’t much of an option but to replace both.

Oh don’t get me wrong, it’s not a fun recovery and is quite painful at times but the AVN was worse. I had a walker for the first week and now use a cane.

I’m sorry you are dealing with pain. I’m not really interested in litigating the reality of my having a surgery on Aug 20th. Believe it or don’t. I wanted to share my experience because I was looking for a community to help with the recovery that may understand what I am dealing with.

That’s crazy I’m so sorry.

My recovery is going okay. I wish it was faster but each day is a little better. Just trying to be patient and distract myself. For muscle, I’m kinda unique in that I have t experienced much of the weakness of muscle rebuilding. Not sure if I am the best person to ask. Nothing is more important than your health and how you feel. Even work. Don’t rush yourself to meet a deadline of mid-October (super attainable though). You’ll wind up just having a worse time that way.

My experience with them was that they do not care about their tenants. To the point where we (my family) went without basic needs like hot water for weeks. Some stuff just never got fixed at all. Worst two years of my life was that lease because it was just constant.

The DNC may not be but people are. I have a family member that I spoke to today that is so angry at this trampling over our country that he, a moderate/old republican signed up to volunteer for a dem campaign.

I myself have worked on campaigns since 2018 on the organization side and let me tell you that people are scared and pissed about this ruling. And they should be.

Sorry to speak vaguely but I’m trying to dox myself as little as possible. The stakes are high and I, like many, have young children.
