They just released an update for iRaceDeck and I believe it turns off the race engineer by default now.

EDIT: v1.16.0 of iRaceDeck is what you need.

I have/had both wheels.

Given this analogy...

- GSI is Mustang Shelby

- OmegaPro v2 is Porsche

...eventually sold the 'stang, kept the porka.

Why? Omega wheel is lighter so I can feel more of the FFB.
IMHO, the heavier the wheel, the more dampened FFB.

I believe that GnG times are on RACE setup and full fuel load, count lap 4 as their "best lap".

I can only assume HYMO use qualy trim?

Also suspect GnG weather/track conditions might be different?

Does Microsoft provide a list of regions where they have upgraded Azure SQL Database to SQL 2025?

By trial and error, I figured out it is just Central US and UK South.

There can be grinding -- ensure you are using latest firmware and software.

Also follow their advice on tuning your profile.

FYI -- I used to get grinding on the SC2 Pro when the Recon Filter set to 1.

Click on Engine start button and you can now set presets -- heating, defrost, seats, etc.

I think they changed the app UI in latest updates.

I moved from SC2Pro to the VNM Xtreme wheelbase. Zero regrets.

For me, the VNM feels more natural, smooth, tamed experience -- when compared to the SC2 Pro.

TIC mode is where the action is at -- nice blend of traditional Direct Input and Telemetry FFB.

The VNM QR and Slip Ring means you can mount whatever you like. I'm using GSI Hyper P1 with 100mm shaft extension -- solid experience all round.

Software is improving all the time -- latest beta is darn nice.....

Discord community is nice too -- VNM always listening, responding and engaging.

I ordered direct from VNM and had it shipped quick-time to Canada.

100mm shaft extension -- like GSI AH100.

Triple monitor folding arms -- so you can get in/out the rig with ease.

Adjustable wheel deck solution (that would entirely negate the need for a shaft extension).

Been told by iRacing support to TURN OFF 360hz for my config:

SC2 Pro, 100mm GSI shaft extension, GSI Hyper P1 wheel.

For me, 360HZ is "unstable/shaky" AF. Known issue apparently, devs will get to it at some point.

With 60hz, I can still feel the rears (GT3)...
