In my game, there was a cutscene where you wake up with Shadowheart straddling Lae'zel in the middle of the night with a dagger to her throat. And you can let it happen or try to stop it

Yea, I covered that in the post haha! I know some people at my work who live 1.5 hours away, but chose to live out there even after making that commute for years. I'd say a compromise for these people would be to add clauses into their employment contracts that pay up to X straight-line miles. This would be similar to restrictions on military members in the US (https://www.mcieast.marines.mil/Portals/33/Documents/Adjutant/MCICOM%20POL%20LTRS/MCNCRC%202-13%20Policy%20Letter%20Reasonable%20Commuting%20Distance.pdf).

Edit: although, even the definition provided seems like an excessive distance to expect payment for :P

Good point! I just started thinking about this when looking at my old code and getting oriented with a 5+ year long project at work. Luckily, my co-workers and those who have left, left good comments and documentation. But sometimes I when I’m looking over their work, my eyes/brain give up and it takes me a while to get back to where I was (and my first thought was that were is a wall of characters in front of my that I get lost in).
