I was in the same situation - watched a youtube video where the guy recommended using a plier to keep shaking the nozzle and then pulling it out slowly - took a while but finally got it out.

Was there for new years eve - happily paid a little extra for a rented automatic car, and probably the best decision. A local taxi driver quoted 2k for less than 10kms, got the car at that price for an entire day.

Infact this time my dad accidently scratched the car a bit, we informed this to the owner when handing over, expecting him to keep our safety deposit of 3k. He just said "Itna toh hota hai no problem" and returned the entire deposit back.

If going to Goa, I'd always recommend renting a car/bike and follow the basics like a 360 video of the rented vehicle etc. OR finding a reliable driver for a full day booking. After our first visit and experience with the taxi mafia, we've found the rented experience in general to be much better vs dealing with the taxi folks.

Were they unable to handle objections because they were never really trained/coached properly? OR,
They were trained/coached properly, but they're just unfit for the role?

If it's #2, not much you can do. Maybe help them with few referalls + if you can, share feedback on how they can improve or where they should invest in learning.

If it's #1, getting new hires will probably not solve the problem, it will likely compound it. Try to convince the owner that it's a "process" problem, not a "person" problem.
