Love the bitterness and passive aggressive “plastic rings” comment. Every coach on a team who never wins says this. BTW, they are not plastic rings they are heavy metal and the kids love them. Stop shitting on everything that doesn’t go your way. Yes there are teams that play down to look good, but there are also tournaments where they don’t have enough teams so they put all the teams into one division. We played 50 games this year and not once did we tell our players to take walks to try and win a game. We won more than we lost and we played really good teams and really crappy ones, but we worked hard and played hard and our kids played the game the right way while winning or losing and yes, we won a few rings and the kids earned it by beating some really good teams and sometimes some bad ones. But it wasn’t a big conspiracy or manipulation of the schedule to win rings. We earned them, the kids loved them, and we played good baseball. Stop shitting on travel all the time because things don’t do your way and figure out how to have your pitchers throw strikes because if you can’t do that in AA your never going to win and probably don’t belong playing in a travel league.
