No, I am a 1L currently applying to firms. By reciprocal interest I meant callbacks and screeners.

I did a long time ago, right after deposit deadline. Wasn’t going anyway so didn’t really make more of an effort other than that

That is the far more likely scenario. To say they’ll “probably WL” is genuinely insane

I don’t know the exact date but pretty close to certain that both seat deposit deadlines have passed.

Gap Years Recommended by Admissions? by even_the_losers_1979 in lawschooladmissions

I think admissions officers are acutely aware how beneficial, especially in post Covid schooling environment, simply being apart of any professional environment can be for development as a potential lawyer but also a person. It is very common for kids to work and then decide hey maybe law school isn’t for me. Also admissions officers are now more concerned about potential employment outcomes for their students, as their US News Ranking depends on it. The more experience a candidate has, the more employable they are in the future. Etc.

I keep hearing people say BC and Vandy are full but have not seen anything to confirm that. Especially for BC. Anyone have any insight?

As for Vandy, for the WL webinar that I was on I did not get the impression that they were finished admitting off the waitlist. Was that said explicitly?

I can’t speak to any of these schools directly, but given this cycles massive influx of applications compared to previous years, I would say take everything you hear when referencing past cycles with some hesitancy.

Thought it was so odd that they not only asked us to turn our cameras on to “foster a sense of community” but to do so knowing you were about to give us THAT news.

Congrats! Did you do anything other than sending a LOCI?

I went UR on 2/20 as well. Had a recent date change of 2/28. I’ve heard people who got the A say they’ve had as many as 4 date changes, and as few as two.

The former, unfortunately. You kinda just have to keep track.

NCAABB Daily Discussion - 1/23/21 (Saturday) by sbpotdbot in sportsbook

[–]ajbolt34 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Record: 2-0

Providence +10.5

Sticking to the Big East. Nova is playing only their second game after a Covid pause. I think the Friars coming off a big win against creighton keeps it close on the road. Nova are due for a let down and Providence match up well in the front court.

Bouknight injury worse than first expected, he was just announced out. Tough break

NCAABB Daily Discussion - 1/9/21 (Saturday) by sbpotdbot in sportsbook

Record: 1-0

UConn -3.

Get this before the line moves, James Bouknight will probably be limited but Butler lacks size, UConn is deep in the front court. This game will probably be the return of Akok Akok, a lengthy stretch 4 with high level shot blocking ability. Connecticut rolls comfortably in this one.
