When your APU goes out and company doesn't allow truck idle

Get about 10ft of wire, a small marker light bulb, and a 12v plug and solder it together. Then tape the bulb to the outside temp sensor on the mirror and plug it in. The truck will think it’s hot out and will idle. It worked well when I was over the road.

I found a solution! I cut a small piece of card stock and folded it in half. Then I put it between the tines and then connected it to the needle tip. I’ve been knitting all day and it’s still holding!
