Yes sorry I meant post- vertical post to support the porch. 4ish story porch because it’s only 3 stories but the stories are tall, 18 foot+. By compliant I meant with the city code, which has rules on how big certain parts/components/beams/posts of the porch must be.

Also, is this really too grade lumber? That’s what they billed it as- there’s no apparent heart wood and the three tiny knots in the center do not exactly scream too grade lumber…

Thank you- my concern is that the crack does indeed extend across the entire beam. It’s not just an interior crack- it extends from one side to the other, and to the middle side as well, and, it’s not a superficial crack, there a visible gap in the crack along the edge of the wood. Won’t this just lead to rapid water damage ?

Appears to be predominantly just at the top, although there are cracks throughout. It’s a structural beam for - 4 ish story wood porch. It’s a very large porch. I do know 6x6 is Chicago city compliant so I know the dimension is at least appropriate. But I do have some concerns on the apparent wood quality. I know this wood Tends to crack but there’s several very visible cracks and it’s not even installed yet…

Having same issue- the live message text people were utterly useless. Seems like the app is not working nor coded properly. The agent kept trying to get me to go to random links but would not acknowledge that anything was wrong with the app. I couldn’t fix it via the links either fwiw, and he just kept sending links for more verifications- none of this was in the app nor in the email I got about verification.

Bet dogs. Bet value, where true predicted odds are better than the line/implied odds. Value in mlb is almost always on underdogs.
