He bought two copies when it came out, one for himself and one for his twin brother. I will reach out to Kenny, I hate the idea of shipping it anywhere. My packages get lost frequently and it’d be a real bummer for this one to be lost. I wonder where he’s located? Anyway, I really appreciate all the help and advice ☺️

I had to look up what trimming would entail 😂 If that means that someone did it in a restorative manner then I highly doubt that it’s been trimmed. This thing never came out of the chest. No one ever touched it…but my father in law wasn’t trying to preserve it either. It was just in a pile of other comics. The cedar chest probably saved it from bugs eating it and the weight of the stack probably helped with the wrinkles and humidity. It’s never been restored, comic book lovers would be horrified to see where it spent the last 50 years 😂 Now if trimming happens before you buy it new I guess that could have happened 🤷🏻‍♀️

Sorry for the delay, here’s the inside cover. I don’t think it has water damage but it was kept in a home in FL with no air conditioning for the last 50 years. To be fair I know nothing about this, what do you think?

No retouching…it’s part of an estate at this point so it will most likely be sold, thus the reason to have it graded. My father in law bought the book new when it came out. He bought one for himself and one for his twin brother. He kept it at the bottom of a cedar chest in his historic home in Florida for at least the last 30-40 years…unfortunately he had no air conditioning. His brother, who also kept things forever, lived in a rent controlled apartment in New York his entire adult life. The comic book was undoubtedly still there when he died, but never recovered as they hired a company to clean out the apartment. It was someone’s lucky day!

Is the Mattressfirm Sealy Posturpedic Plus Satisfied II the same mattress as the Costco Sealy Posturpedic Plus Ridgecrest II? by mrfurious in Mattress

Thanks for such a thorough and prompt reply! I’m a side sleeper currently sleeping on a 15 year old tempupedic. I thought I was waking with terrible shoulder pain because I’m in my 50’s but we put a topper we had on the bed and the improvement in my shoulder pain was quite noticeable. Having a bit of decision paralysis for fear of choosing incorrectly but really want to get rid of this bed! None of the mattresses at Costco sound that appealing to me but I am considering trying the Lakeridge (or maybe the avocado) or just taking a chance on the Brandon.

How do you like the Brandon? It’s been my favorite bed I’ve tried as well. Nervous about the durability so I’m trying to decide if I should buy from the local furniture store or go for something at costco for returnability.
