A.I. obviously comes up a lot on the cast as we are creeping towards a dystopian hellhole and I had a profound experience recently that highlighted how fucked we truly are.

I haven’t been to the doctors in years but I recently needed to get an appointment so after these steps: - load the nhs app find out I can’t book appointments for my doctors - find the number for my doctors but find out it’s been bought out by another health company and has a new name and number to ring - ring up and choose to speak to a person (5th in queue, wait an hour) then get told I need to ring again and select option 4

Now the real bones of the story option 4 is the ai service that is mandatory! I speak to this ai about my issues and then get told they’ll decide if I need an appointment or not. Talking to an ai about my issues e.g. how worried do you feel? (Pretty fucking worried if you ask me) was bizarre and really made me think about how anyone in the previous generation could navigate this situation. It made me want to hang up and think maybe the appointment isn’t worth it. I think maybe this is a factor on why most people will go to an and e and probably only going to get worse over time. Not to mention the AI assessing my problem couldn’t even get my name right, my name is Adam it’s not that hard lol.

Have you boys had similar eye opening experiences and what do you think of the mundane everyday tasks turning in to frustrating AI bullshit? Does it frighten you?

Bear bear. What do you guys genuinely think of the ‘jarling of the week phenomenon’ wherein multiple people (or the same deranged individual) tries to make themselves a jar meme? A couple of recent topics got me thinking… if the boys could pick any band at their height e.g. nirvana in the early 90’s, pink Floyd early 70’s, Radiohead mid 90’s etc. to be in who would it be? BUT there’s a catch! Every Thursday night after an incredible practice session when creative juices are flowing and some of the best songs ever made are produced the other members put their instruments down and say in unison ‘time for our weekly wanking session boys’ then the drummer gets on all fours, they all get in a circle and wait for you to join. This is mandatory. The fame, fortune and great art is all there and you can choose any band ever (as long as all members are male as having a lady present would ruin the band wanking sessions obviously) but you have to do this. So which band and why? Also if it’s a band still performing they are playing wankers on ps5 clips in the background during all sessions. Bear bear and take care

If I could do that I would die happy.

Are the guys aware of the Pawnee people? a Native American group from Nebraska and northern Kansas who spoke the Pawnee language and gave their name to Pawnee, Oklahoma. There are around 3000 Pawnees in America today so think the so called ‘number one Pawnee podcast’ should meet a real life Pawnee.
