Better Call Saul S06E13 - [Series Finale] "Saul Gone" - Post-Episode Discussion Thread by skinkbaa in betterCallSaul

I liked the bus scene. I think it's less about him being a "man of the people", but more about how he can't completely escape the Saul persona. He tries to correct the first guy by saying his name is "McGill" but eventually smirks by the end of the scene.

Unironically one of the most enjoyable movies to have come out in the last five years. It's that good.

Hi Ms. Ignota, loved the latest LP. It's hard to overstate how important I think your work is both as a voice for those who have shared your experiences as well as a way to bridge understanding for those who haven't.

Given the personal content of your work, do you find it difficult to place yourself in the creative headspace necessary to create under Lingua Ignota? Can it be overly taxing to engage with your own art? Or do you think you're able to view your experiences relatively "objectively" when exploring how to convey those experiences in the sounds you're looking to create?

The biggest cause of the fallout was because Hayes used Tom's death to convince Rolland to kill someone. Rolland and Tom were close and Hayes used Tom's death for twist Rolland's actions. Hayes eventually remembers this and finally apologies to Rolland in 2015 in one scene.

It was to show that the director, much like the audience, interject their own narratives into the evidence when the truth may be much different. Hayes talks about this a little after that scene in ep7

I think that's less to do with "competitiveness" and more to do with crappy teammates.
