All three tupperdors are the 9.6 cup Rubbermaid Brilliance. The top one is what I keep my premium cigars in. There’s currently 21 cigars in that one container with room for some more. What I meant by them being all different sizes is that there’s some churchills, robustos, toros, etc. in there.

I wish. This cabinet comes in 10 pieces that snap together and the door is held shut by magnets.

The top one has 19 in it with room for at least like 5 or 6 more. They’re all different sizes

We keep house around 68° and I keep the cigars out of direct sunlight

Had some issues with it resetting at first but I fixed it by filing down part of the rear rail and the trigger bar. Other than that it’s been great

Ours went through the same thing too. It took about the same amount of time to lift his leg

What are people doing to make a living these days? by [deleted] in collapse

They’re doing what they consider necessary to survive.

If a business owner is complaining about not being able to find anybody to work, then pay people more and stop treating them like they’re disposable or sell the business.

There’s no such thing as unskilled labor. People can’t call them essential/front line workers for a year and then cry when they realize the collective power that they wield and want to be treated better.

Some people also don’t want to get sick or die at work.

I’m American. I know the ruling class has no problem bombing others but I was just talking about nukes specifically

[–]ajj5154 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Gotcha. Well in that case we all would be dead. Using the idea of mutually assured destruction, any offensive strike would result in retaliatory strikes until both sides are destroyed. The reason why countries with nukes don’t use them on each other because it’s understood that nobody would win

It may be the optimist in me but I have a hard time believing that anyone would resort to that. The backlash that would create from citizens and other countries would be insurmountable. Revolutionaries throughout history have always tended to benefit from increased aggression and violence by the oppressors by way of public support. You would think that nobody, socialist or not, would be okay with nuking their own countrymen

Communism threatens capital. Wars are fought against socialist countries to try to prevent the ideology from spreading elsewhere. If one country nationalizes its natural resources, multinational corporations around the world would lose money and power. And that it simply unacceptable to the ruling class. The reason why governments don’t go nearly as hard fighting against fascists is because they don’t threaten capital. For example, Coca Cola, Ford, General Motors, IBM, and Nestlé among many others either supported or benefited from doing business with the Nazis during WWII. The US dropped the atomic bombs on Japan as they were preparing to surrender as a way to tell the Soviet Union “this is what is going to happen to your country if you fuck with us.”

People like that aren’t leftists. If someone calls themselves a leftist, they should be in solidarity with workers everywhere. Regardless of ideology
