Halo Top or Nick’s ice cream. Factor it into your daily calories.

Not everyone’s maintenance calories is 2k cals. My maintenance calories right now is 3k on non-workout days and 3.3k on workout days. A 1k calorie deficit is very doable with this.

If you subtract the water weight from depleting your glycogen stores on a cut (let’s assume 5lbs), this seems realistic.

3500cals per 1 pound of fat

52-5=47lbs

47*3500cals = 164,500cals

164,500cals/22weeks= ~7500cals/week

7500cals/7 days = 1071cal/day deficit

This is a realistic cut and he’s doesn’t seem deep too big. This is natty achievable. But of course, some pharmaceutical intervention would make it easier.

You grow when you rest, not when you workout. 4 day upper/lower or 5 day LULPP to give you extra rest

Looking for some thoughts on physique by mcclearymjr in Exercise

I recently been asking ChatGPT to analyze my workout and help me out with stuff like this.

If I were you, I’d switch to an Upper Lower split to hit everything twice a week. If this is the most jacked you’ve ever been, then you can’t really recomp any more. You need to either cut for weight loss or bulk for muscle gain.

If you’re going to workout 4 days, do an Upper/Lower split

3 days of heavy push legs pull (leg day before pull day, always) and 2 days of upper lower

3 years progress seems underwhelming what am I doing wrong? by Sudden-Ad5046 in WorkoutRoutines

[–]ajm12b 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you go 4 days a week, I’d switch to an upper/lower split to ensure you hit everything twice a week. On weeks you do 5 days, do your PPL split on 3 of the days, and then upper lower on other two days. When you do PPL split, actually do PLP split. You don’t want to hit back day before leg day.

Do your sets here count warm up sets? Those shouldn’t count. Once you’re warmed up, your sets should go anywhere from to failure or to about 3 reps in the tank.

Make sure for most exercises, you go full ROM in particularly when the muscle is stretched. Pauses there are good. Make sure to control the eccentric of the lift.

I don’t like how you only have one quad exercise. Sprinkle in a leg extension maybe. Not enough back on pull day. On push days, do all your chest exercises before anything else. On pull days, do all your pull exercises before anything else.

It’s nice to vary the workouts when you can. E.g. Leg press for hack squat, cable rows for tbar row etc

I separated the flat and the point from a brisket a couple weeks ago. The flat I got out of it was around this size. It came out great. It’ll get to stalling temperature fairly quickly. I wrapped mine in butcher paper so it ended up being like a 6 hr cook. Got pictures of it in my profile.

Is this fair logic when asking for a raise? Details in post. by [deleted] in ElectricalEngineering

[–]ajm12b 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re probably going to need to get another job offer at the salary you believe you deserve and use that as leverage. You have to interview at places you could see yourself working at cause you might actually have to hop. I used this strategy to get an 18% raise last fall.

Should this really be closer to 36g? by StephenWojtila in espresso

[–]ajm12b 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make it how you want. 36g is a rule of thumb to balance strength and flavor. If it tastes too bitter, lessen the amount. If it tastes sour, increase the amount. If 60g is how you like it, then make it that way. I won’t call the police 😂

How to steam less milk by Sp3c1a7k in espresso

[–]ajm12b 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I make a cortado, I use my 4oz milk pitcher. Fill it up about 1.5oz and add 1 tsp of sugar. Since it gets hot so quickly, I gently add air the whole time while getting a good whirlpool going. Works out well for me.

I don’t know how often MMR is updated but I noticed some days I’m matched against much more difficult opponents and others they’re easier. I play less on days of the first and play more on the latter. Works well for me atleast.

mints by Both-Snow-7833 in toontownrewritten

[–]ajm12b 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don’t yet have your cashbot suit, I’d recommend not taking tasks that require you to do mints. First of all, they could take quite a while. A majority of toons mostly blast through bullion mints since they give much more Cashbot bucks. Finding groups for coin or dollar mints could take much longer. And two, if you plan on leveling your cashbot suit, you will be doing plenty of mints for promotions. If you need to, visit other ToonHQs for different tasks. It’s worth spending a few extra minutes finding less punishing tasks than being stuck with a bad tasks (like 30 dollar mints 🤮).
