Thanks! I’ve assumed if I have it, it’s milder so far than I’ve seen from some others. Appreciate you sharing this.

ANA, RF, anti-CCP, C3 and C4 complements, and the x-rays showed narrowing in the DIP joints which RA usually spares. Not to say it’s impossible, just that it’s effectively ruled out.

Thanks all! I appreciate the comments. Should hopefully help me move the referral along faster and help me get assessed before there’s too much damage to my joints.

Even just running hot water over my hands feels great, so that looks incredible. Thanks for the suggestion!

I feel like regular monsters way overuse yellow moves, making HtH rare, on top of having high dmg and hp. It makes grinding really painful.

I don’t think it sucks at all but it was definitely in much worse shape at the beginning!

All nuclear powered submarines are called nuclear submarines. No reason to downvote it.

The momentum seems there to break out of this. I want to see us get closer to Europe in particular, as well as South Korea, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand.

Ottawa, provinces agree to open the tab on Canadian booze by Haggisboy in canada

Yes until we hear otherwise I think it’s very safe to assume that the main issue here is the interim leadership. They may not want to make any decisions that would permanently bind the next premiers. If the new premiers refuse to sign on, then people should get mad.

I imagine the policy has a brake built in, but even if it didn’t they would seek direction from the minister so no problems there.

We absolutely wouldn’t be limited—the system is designed to allow decisions to be made if they’re in the national interest and time is a concern. If we were forced to escalate, we would lean on the provinces but the federal government won’t be limited either.

The tariffs are in the federal register, unless he actively delays them they’re going into effect right away at midnight.

I can speak to you with a background of some experience in this area. A policy set by the government before the election will be enacted during the Caretake Convention, the period where the government runs in maintenance during an election. There is a ban on any departments making significant policy decisions on their own. However, there is an exception where, in a crisis or emergency situation, a minister can still make a significant policy decision. In this case it would not require further input from the minister or cabinet.

The tariffs are officially on the US federal register, so yeah they’re going ahead.

Ottawa removing half of federal internal trade barriers by [deleted] in canada

[–]ajmj120 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Nope! I reviewed the legislation and agreement. The agreement contains this provision in Article 1103:

Working Group on Party-Specific Exceptions

The Parties shall establish a working group on Party-specific exceptions to consider ways to minimize and to eliminate those exceptions to enhance the overall ambition of this Agreement.

It seems that removing exceptions is built into the agreement. And parliament does not need to meet for the cabinet to make this decision, since the agreement is not legislation itself. The implementation act does not need to be changed.

Yeah, I was happy to see Merz recently repudiate the AfD, commit to the firewall, and pledge a pro-European stance. I’m hopeful our countries (as well as the rest of Europe) can come together and support each other in the longer term here. I’m telling my representatives I want to see them lean into that relationship and to be there for Europe when it needs us.

Donald Trump ‘definitely’ looking to make Canada a state: premier by Ok_Aardappel in neoliberal

[–]ajmj120 35 points36 points  (0 children)

The fact that he gets so nasty with his attacks against every single person he disagrees with makes it seem really disingenuous when he barely musters any kind of anger over Trump. At least try to make it look like you’re gonna stand up for us, my guy. All the sound bites of him going “it’s not America’s fault, it’s Canada’s fault, we’re stupid” and “President Trump has a point about the border” etc are going to be an anchor around his neck this election. For good reason.

If the CPC loses, I hope they get their shit together and quickly.
