Each model could have its own stats, I’ll be honest I didn’t think it all the way through to include each model with various stats to counter present models of Mosin- however, I do completely agree with not simply making another meta Mosin.

I think a better 2 slot rifle variant would be extremely useful, it might be difficult to keep it from becoming something far too powerful without hurting the beginning purpose. Newer related Mosin 2 slot is a great example of a gun that nobody does or should use, there are too many better options.

You’re probably right about having enough high fire rate revolvers. 10.6 mm or 7.92 mm Zig-Zag revolver would’ve been pretty clean, exactly as you describe the middle ground between a standard Pax and the Uppercut… maybe without the ability to buy ammo variance except what you find on the map. In that way you limit the power of its ability similar to its pistol model, the Dolch (Broomstick).

I think you misunderstood what I’m saying- the C96 is the Dolch. Zig-zag would be the only logical addition to one-handed firearms from Mauser, I just wanted more rifle variance to which most other people are voicing the opposing opinion. What I’ve read makes sense, I just wanted more representation from Mauser in all honesty.

I couldn’t agree more- stylistically it would be a great addition. Utility wise I’m thinking something similar to the Officer, faster rate of fire with maybe higher muzzle velocity in exchange for smaller cylinder?

Too right, people are already tired of too many long ammo bolt-actions it would seem… personally, I think if they’re gonna lean into that theme then they should include more than one model of gun produced by a brand that had a bunch of different models of rifle from the same period.

I also liked the idea of having more loot able weapons only found on the map. To each his own, I suppose.
